i put a small stake in yesterday, surprised it has gone up already. i guess 6.5p was the bottom. It probably is a really bad company but at the end of the day every company has a price. a director put 400 grand of his own cash on the line at 14p, that was a good buying signal for me and the company still has a reputation for what its worth, like wlw has. there has been heavy buying today, i wouldnt be surprised if director has upped his stake from here.

i agree with ferrari, very good mid-long term play. i'm already in, im not surprised that it has dropped today because these shares are volatile anyway. But i expect it to revalue up to 20p not before long. Duoala in cameroon is an industrial city and demand is growing so there will always be great demand for their gas.

like chan mentioned in nov 2007 about a takeover, speculation may now be rekindled again since 600 has just bought in a new CEO who has previously been involved in a MBO. SP does seem quite depressed, i wouldnt be surprised if the CEO tries to find a buyer and sell the company somewhere in the region of 50p

ive been watching these recently, certainly ripe for a takeover. on my watchlist

sometimes you can buy shares under the mid-price, especially in aim. i think its because of the overhang in the market. since your getting quoted above ogloke, it seems the overhang has gone.

if the sp is so cheap then why are the directors not buying and the investment firms selling off? maybe its only the ppl on this bb thinking its cheap and the rest of the world seeing it as neutral

i just checked their australian listing and it is priced at 1.3p which is there abouts with lse. either this has been totally overlooked or there is something that we dont know. It would be mad not to buy just by looking at shareholders equity.

mkt cap of around 8mill. net assets at @ dec 2007 is 9.5mill. Forecasted to make around 2.2 mill pre - tax profit for june 08. looks great on the outside but what about the inside? Im new to the business, anyone else still watching this one?

hi petertee, i cant thank you enough for the recommendation of this share. I was just wondering what your stance will be on the share, do you think its best to take short-term gains and repurchase or hold for the mid-long term considering it is quite illiquid. It seems that the larger institutions are grabbing at the chance to increase their holdings.

thanks for the tip petertee and gedw. Got in on news of RBS upping stake. I notice Barc has scooped up a stake also. Possibly one i will keep for the longer term to see how it pans out.

Alot of investment trusts including this one have soared down because of large sell offs and are operating way under NAV. Similar to RSS fund. If you can pick a choose correctly you can make an easy gain in the l/term.

heavy director purchasing in this one and ISH makes you wonder whether both should even be discounted with the real state markets. They are happily scooping up the shares. I would suggest a small stake in both would be a good punt for medium - long term.

grossly oversold. Alot of risk to this share, however since director bought in on wednesday it has provided some good leeway to take a speculative punt on this. NAV stands at around 56p and a 3p divi had already been issued on 30th june. Remember not to use NAV as an indicator however as EET's assets are very different!

there are so many sales going through, people are disappointed so they are pulling out. i would be very cautious if i was you, i would research why there are so many large sales over 100000, looks like a large sell off.
