i believe this could be just an inflated rise which will gradually fall over the coming weeks. the difference between seg and take two is that take-two has the best brand portfolio around at the mo imo and its share price was looking a much oppurtinunity than this one considering gta4 will release in april bagging take two atleast 250 - 300 million within a month. however i do hope this does well for you guys who are in but its just my opinion.

also i dont think we should buy this share on the possibility on the nintendo wii and ds line-up. i have a wii and the majority of games bought on it are first party games, its extremely hard for third parties to get any sort of market share on the wii. im not sure about ds though. with super smash bro's being released in EU and US in 2008 it will be hard for them to grasp any of that market. although its the best selling console, the majority of people who have it are kids and casual gamers. eidos should concentrate on ps3, xbox360 and PC as that is what the majority of their brand portfolio is intended for.

and this one is the make or break. if they waste their time on TR instead of concentrating on age of conan SEG will be dead in the water. TR is past its life expectancy whereas age of conan has the potential to be as big as WoW. if they can push it out by May 'before school summer holidays' it will be good. donshakey i think TR is expected q4 2008.

i have just completed my research on this company. the thing that only keeps me positive about this company is 'age of conan' an mmorpg. been delayed quite alot but this will be the make or break for this company. we need a new mmorpg now and if they can get this out before the end of 2008 they will be succesful. it has a large base of gamers waiting for it and some fairly good reviews. possibility of subscription based online playing/updates also. beta test already started. any later than 2008 and their potential consumer base will dwindled away as gamers have been waiting too long for this one. one to watch imo!

there games are not impressing anymore. they have lost their touch and not keeping up with next-gen e.g call of duty 4, crysis and bioshock. tomb raider isnt getting any rave reviews this time over. remember TR will have to compete against metal gear solid 4 and GTA 4 and devil may cry 4 which will be big sellers for 2008. also the championship manager series is nowhere near football manager series. although this company has brand names how many times can you re-release the same games on future next gen consoles e.g tomb raider anniversary on wii. they need new games and they arent coming soon. long term i can safely say this will go down but i dont know what will happen within a month

it might actually be fairly priced. look at recent news their profits will be hit badly. dont just think its cheap because its 588, it is there for a reason. i havent done any research on the company but i wont be investing until i do. from what i understand al. was already previously highly geared.

itv results on 5th of march. party provide poker to itv in a revenue split deal. lets see how much its actually making for them.
