The 53p shares were taken up mainly by Israeli investors as far I understand it, I for one don't think they will all "sell on news" on FID. A whole basin will start to be opened up. They may churn some in periods of no news, stay until 1 st oil is my plan.

What if another partner comes in after FID ? Think there will be more events to come before 1st oil.

I don't think they will want coverage at all, they want to carry on as they have done, quietly and competently building a company.

I think it's about fair value. Looks like the market is thinking FID 2026, this could drop into the 60s over Xmas. FID, I believe this will be worth £700M MCAP and climbing from there to 1st oil. Although I'm hoping for a partner and for Isobel to be explored as SL is developed, the more knowledgeable posters say this is highly unlikely though. But a US company getting involved in some way would be great; I think it could get full value then, and maybe even overbought in a frenzy. I also can't see a takeover under £2.50.

Mirasol - All your incorrect speculation. Not desperate at all, in fact, I wouldn't mind a delay, a 3-month delay would be a time to buy more. Nobody knows for sure. I just don't get the obsession with the vote, could be completely wrong of course.

If it's already been signed off, it's difficult for the newly elected to change it, I would think. Not that I think they will try to stop it.

Agreed Ovets. The caliber of politicians over the last couple of decades has been appalling. In the past, even if I disagreed with certain politicians, they at least had a vision, sold it as is, and stuck to it; I have to respect that. We need testing and standards for people who enter public office, and no more low-level shop-floor union reps, journalists, or lawyers, for starters.
