BP currently produces about 300,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d) from its Gulf of Mexico portfolio. Across 5 hubs. I think the north basin will produce once more holes are drilled, Isobel, etc. FI is significant enough for them I think.

Why do you think BP? Wouldn't they have taken RKH out by now ? Rather than after FID and having to pay more ?

I know I can fantasize sometimes, but "BP takeover can push Rocky over £6". Haha, that would leave me in a quivering heap on the floor, with visions of huge mansion, with its underground car park full of epic motors, the helipad etc. Seriously, Argentina are a thorn in side for Majors, I don't think BP is likely.

LTT - Yes, strangely, I think a lower oil price makes RKH even more attractive to some. Murphy Oil has ~35% of their income as shale at ~$55 break even. 65% of US oil is from shale, a good chunk from the Permian at $40-$50 break even, but there after $50-$60 break even. US oil is rocky with price moves. Sea Lion and Isobel start to look very tasty, for starters, and actually offer some stability in a world where I think the lift costs will be ever more important.

Would be great for Murphy and others perhaps to join this, end of Argentina issues, finance very very strong then, knowledge skills access, management skills access. Even more left field, the Falklands would make an excellent strategic military base for the US, particularly for sub marines. It gives them the ability to pincer anything China sends over to the US across the Pacific, it gives them an arm right up from South America to China. I did hear from someone in the UK military many years ago that they US had approached the UK for a base on FI, but pinch of salt I guess.

So the dream would be at least 2 US companies join the FI and want to get several rigs down there, and blitz it. Marlonmonkey joins the exploration team. New targets being hit as SL and Izzy get into production. Trump then announces he is going build a huge US military base in FI, and a golf course ! Bibi, Trump with the Navitas team and RKH team then have a round of golf as the 1st oil starts.

A bit more subtle and more eloquent than Garbled, but I'm pretty sure there is mischief with Happy and they are working to their agenda. At the moment that appears to be a lower SP for RKH.

Happy seems a little too like Garbled, I wonder. A string of recent "black swan" suggestions, seems like they're trying to move the SP down. Not long ago, it was a Veto by Bibi, and now it's the Oil Price causing FID suspension. Lift costs are desirable for SL compared to most others.

Its not just browser, it the LSE site. In work I have to have a load of tabs open and I have LSE on of course. There is something wrong when it refreshs, my laptop will freeze completely sometimes and it always still going. Happening over months now, when I kill LSE, its all fine. I sent them an email today actually, telling them to have a look at their site, its got serious problems I told them. I nearly fell off my chair with the response, its below:

Nik - Yes our Dept to GDP is in fact ~135% when the NHS and other public pension labilities are factored in, its a bomb ! I have know many NHS workers and one of my ex GFs was a nurse, on £50k 8 years ago and could have added to that with some add on specializations to £70k, but she didn't want to, she had that luxury. An awful lot are overpaid and on 25% pensions a year, its just not sustainable, but they can hold us all to ransom and of course they all vote Labour, they have been a thorn in the side of the UK for decades. They also have "private practice" which is affectively moonlighting, myself and friends have jumped queues and ended up on a ward with cash in an envelope paid (no joke), we did get receipts and I do believe they pay the NHS a fee for using some the equipment, but I would guess there is huge abuse with the tax and fees. We jumped 12 months queues with cash for the Dr. Anecdote, don't think so.

I had an insurance claim because of an eye injury due to wrong eye protection supplied when I was grinding out a Weld prep you could fit your fist in on a wind turbine (another scam). They had taken out 18 flakes of steel 2 months before and I was healed, it was just a check for an insurance company, for the claim. I walked in fine, saw little children with eyes patches on, old grannies and grandads and some you could see blood on their eye patches etc, struggling. Yet I walked in, was seen before all of them, no issues with sight at that point. I felt awful then and I fell awful now about that, it was 10am and on NHS time, I was the least person that needed the Dr.

It needs a complete re-think in this country ! No more operations and BS if you are fat without a medical issue, get exercise and sort your diet, think you are woman when you clearly are not, do one. Alot needs to be stripped out, NHS used to treat broken legs, arms and the usual stuff, now its a woke arm of the left and its killing us and its corrupt. £15k Titanian hip in a 90yo ffs, Boob jobs etc, crazy !
