Mentioning Norwegian, and taking the view there may be cash support across the industry, leads to the conjecture that some of that support may be backing the wrong horse - if one also takes the view it will take the industry years to recover to previous cruising levels, during which large lines have vessels empty and stored, with little prospect of sale to support the cash position. So it arguably begs the question of the shape of things to come, profitability, winners/losers, consolidation, and so on. A comment on the industry in general on the road ahead, emerging from coronavirus - nothing more.
