I confess I do not really understand it, but they obviously feel there is something to be gained on the green side - carbon capture, hydrogen and all that as per their RNS which I mentioned in an earlier post. They say they think them having obtained key positions is of future signifince - bit different from digging a hole. And I wait for something happening for them to monetise the science and experimentation.

Labour calls for expansion of social housing retrofit programmes in Build it in Britain green plan

The government must undergo a major expansion of its current housing retrofit schemes as part of a major green recovery programme following the Covid crisis, the Labour Party has said #ukhousing

The calls come as part of Labour’s Build it In Britain programme which is aimed at creating 400,000 new green jobs and helping the country’s economic recovery following the COVID-19 pandemic.
Its plan comes ahead of the Spending Review and has been published to put pressure on the government to focus its future spending on green economic recovery.
This includes calls for an expansion of energy efficiency and retrofit programmes for buildings and homes, including in social housing.

Just a thought that the front end, housebuilders, rose first. Investors now moving to the support services, suppliers.
