i notice BC sale IgG and IgM tests since last year and last month introduced version 2 of the IgG test. I have not been able to find out how these are doing since launch. I am assuming ok if they continue to improve them and expand their investment on these and GDR. Anyone has idea if that data is available?

just have to look at ODX; many sold yesterday on some directors cashing in. Today different story and many will be regretting it.

Symbol1, but you forget that the only reason the SP went up in the first place was due to the FT news before any concrete contract details...some would had taken advantage of that to make a quick profit. Many who have been invested since at much lower SP would not be too faced by the volatility in the 80-100range for now. Those that got caught out last week buying based on FT news only and bough in the 90s would think differently. I personally think right now this level is too uncertain if you are new to ODX; you need to pick the right entry point unless you are prepare to see this through and hold for months; otherwise you will be too stressed seeing the SP swings.

Symbo1...it is all relative. A drop in SP due to people's reaction with no fundamental change is actually a potential buying opportunity for many. Wouldn't it be great if tomorrow Amazon, TESLA and Apple, SP dropped significantly?
I can assure you what many would be doing; often happens when profit taking and then people thinking something is wrong and selling in mass, driving the price down further; would be seen negative for those already heavily invested; but very positive for those on the sidelines or spare cash to take advantage and buy in as discounted SP.
I am thinking you are not the one here to make money...the SP never goes up or down on straight line! that is how you make money; you need to decide where you think the future outlook is (from the current point in time) and buy or sell based on that.

No one really knows the reason and it is up to each to decide if you see it as negative, neutral or positive. The only fact is the SP has reacted negative today; if you think this reflects the reality behind the RNS perhaps sell...if you think is positive then perhaps more of a buy. If neutral; do more substantial research before taking action.

If you read more in to trading psychology; you will note that SP is driven very often by sentiment, people making up things in their mind that aren't factual. Selling or buying on the back of that RNS would be such case; but it is that aspect of trading that creates buying or selling opportunities.

You need to take the SP as it is today and decide where you think this share is going; if you see it going up then you have just come across a buying opportunity.

yes agreement with Beckman coulter is one big catalyst. But the share also has been hit hard by the sentiment vaccine news created last year against test companies and also GDR has missed a few targets regards approvals and sales expectations.

Sentiment overall is better now towards testing as a parallel option to vaccines rather than being one or the other; and the BC agreements gives some expectations that this time Sales will happen.

GRD has also given the FDA notice that it will distribute its test without approval.

I think in summary that is how I see the overall increase in recent weeks.

timelybuy....on the other hand some that were here in the first wave and got caught out by the big drop after will be more cautious until there are hard sale numbers. I am comfortable buying sub £1.50 on sentiment alone but above that I personally need to start seeing more substance. At £2-£3 it will be a rollercoaster until sales consolidate the SP and continues to rise.

It will all depend on sales news. Sentiment alone could push this over £2 as was seen last year. Above that then only sales and hard numbers will push higher...how much higher probably depends on sustainability of sales which difficult to say where the COVID will be then.

Djm...keep it real...there is no change from Friday. A 5% - 10% rise today would be very good and keep the momentum from last week. With no further news £1.20 - 1.30 by end of the week would be a good week.

I think the RNS today is positive; they have not denied the FT info. They could have stayed quiet or said it is not true (if it wasn't). The fact they say contract news will come when contracts signed tells me there is an agreement and paper work still to be processed.

ihavenoclue...stop digging. you keep confusing the terms EU and Europe. When referring to the EU you are correct UK is out; when Europe is mentioned then the UK is pretty much in unless you think the leave vote had some sort of geographical power to split the UK from Europe. So when a company has a large market share or are targeting in Europe; that includes the UK; if they say EU that excludes the UK.

The EU and Europe are two different things by the way. The UK is part of Europe no matter what.

Good job geography is not always essential to trading stocks.

I didn't want to win when the SP was near 100p...but I'll take it. 8)

I'm competitive...but one of the few times I actually don't mind losing and even better if I am way below target. 101p seems doable.
