but why would they continue to sell below 100p? they didn’t do so last year when SP was at that level for weeks....also current increase saw no major selling until we went pass 90p ( last support line). If it goes below that would be purely on people panic selling not MM or big sellers mentioned.

looking at the charts it appears we could be back at same levels of support and resistance seen back in October when waiting on sales news then vaccine news landed. So if we hit that level there’s no need to panic; a reversal around 100p would be very positive and some confirmation of the support and continue and up trend and with some news, expect it to breakout resistance to new highs. Agree/disagree? thoughts welcomed.

Anyone know the details of the BC deal; are they essentially buying the GDR kit at a contract price to then sell at their own margin? Would BC have committed to a minimum order for the next X months? Seem like a big commitment from a big company to not have already lined up sales.

RNS had impact mainly positive. It brought a sharp influx of demand and hence the spike. A sharp drop was always imminent until you find the new support level. I must admit i was expecting people’s patience to go beyond one day and continue the sharp rise through the week and drop this coming week to new support level until further news but the problem with many investors right now is bitcoin type expectations.

He was telling everyone in GDR to come to ODX! after the FT news. I think he is down in GDR in the high £1.50s.

the SP is driven by supply and demand.
There is some correlation to sales and profits in that many use P/E ratio to assess if the share is overvalued or not. That is in comparison to similar companies. So if your competitors are trading at say 5x to 10x PE the you could assume that your potential SP could be 5 to 10 x PE. So if you have good estimated of your future earnings then you can come up with a SP range. But that is just one simplistic way to look at it; SP can be by driven by brand awareness/strength and many other market sentiment. Example TESLA compared to other car companies.

Today is generally a bad day across the markets and I can see up and downs for next week too in the 1.30 - 1.50 range.

Junior2020; the timing of your trade and the ramping of the share are very different things. When people quote big numbers you need to apply a sensible time scale to it and decide if the target SP is realistic based on your expected period to hold the share. Buying first thing when the share is rocketing and then expecting to hit £3 on the same day is purely inexperience on your part specially if you are a new shareholder. Those that have a low average can afford to buy a little early doors and average up and then buy again later in the day, or even sale straight away for a quick profit; if the price drops they can cover their early buy and if the price continues to go up they missed on a bit of profit but who cares, your share are still going up and you got in early.

£3 is still on the cards but you need to be thinking months and further news. £2+ by end of the week still possible based on previous weeks, 10% - 15% jumps per day. I personally was expecting a better day; 30%+ is not unheard of in AIM; but 10% still a good day for existing share holders. If you bought in the 1.60s you are only 12% from break even; that is easily achieved in AIM in a morning or a back end of afternoon, so tomorrow you could well have a chance to sell and get out if this is too much for you and more than 1 day wait is beyond your expectations. @GGGT; yes that can happen that is why stated is higher risk...but it is also potential higher returns. Depends how much you are risking and what else you are backing in your portfolio to decide what is best at the time. I was comfortable that I could miss the bus at the bottom end but I decided I was happy to miss the bottom and catch the bus on the way up because my cash was returning plenty elsewhere. I was confident that with sentiment changing and news this would turn back in to the 90s before going higher but I was also confident that the 40-50p range would be there for sometime without any. I was happy to buy back in the 70p-80p range if news dropped before I bought back in. you do need to keep track daily and it is more time demanding compared to sitting patiently so it is not always the right thing to do.

FAT can range and be very limited only to ensure components work and fit together and switch on and do basic functions. Sometimes equipment is FAT in section and not always as a full system. It depends on the facility and the cost prepared to paid by the customer ahead and risk willing to take in to onsite commissioning.
I have not seen the FAT spec so is wrong to assume either way. The FAT could have been very comprehensive, but it would not be the first time something relevant to the onsite installation has been missed. Teething problems in commissioning would be unheard off otherwise.

well so far I got something right...predicted £1.60 early doors; over £2 finish.
I must admit I was thinking it would swing £1.55 - £1.65 in the morning and pushing to over £2 by the end when US market opens. Probably £1.80 is a good high for the day later in the day. But settling at £1.55 would be a new recent end of day high.

How can some be saying what was the point of the RNS? this RNS tells us nothing new! We need SALES!

I will start a list of books for people to read on what drives share prices. Sales and fundamentals are just one factor to consolidating/strengthening a position and kicking off future speculation. Sentiment and shareholders confidence plays a huge part and the RNS todays:
- Gives confidence and with that removes fear and at least perception of risk. That drives more investment and demand compiled with lower willingness to sale.
- It also introduces new shareholders to GDR due to the noise it creates in the media such as this one.
- it gives confidence on the commitment BC are giving GDR by meeting shareholder expectations (mid Feb quoted; mid Feb we got)
- It keeps us in the loop of what is going on and that tells us the companies are positive on the future and are willing to share that.
- removes speculations and replaces it with more factual info; which allows us to make better informed decisions. Some of it its positive but also some of it keeps us grounded and not expecting to shoot for £10 overnight.
- I'm sure others can add to this list.

If you can't see the impact of this RNS on your trading strategy you need to go back to learning before loosing all your cash.

The SP at any one time already has everything priced in! that is common knowledge. But that only applies in the absence of changes/news.
£1.30 included speculation, fears and some profit taking. This RNS is new therefore just being priced in now, mainly removing some of the fear priced in at £1.30; but also will include some profit taking, but also new speculation and optimism. It will all needs to rebalance and only the next few days will tell what the next SP base is.

patience is one way to play the game...but the real returns come with timing. Although getting it right is much harder. Did my research and I sold GDR at 50p at loss in November expecting sentiment to stay low on covid test for some weeks; used the cash release in recovery stocks and made money back and profit; used profit to buy GDR again at 46p last month. So Patience does pay off in the end but not as much as timing it right. It comes down to risk appetite, research, speculation, your own cash flow situation. If i had spare cash and the recovery was not booming in nov -dec i would had stayed put but. GLA either strategy can work; look at your portfolio balance more than your stock line.
