Probably a lot of profit taking as well - in January this was less than a dollar in the US 4x in 6 weeks , it needs some consolidation there and here. We have been spoilt with the rise but if people are selling and happy with 4x then we just need those shares to swap hands.

I stand corrected - I went Monday open to Friday close - even more reasons to chill!

I know there is disappointment with today - I have some also as we all like big rises - but it will come. Unless you wanted to sell today then everything is fine, see it as an opportunity to top up (I did). BTC over the weekend will be interesting, if it breaches 55k and US starts to move at pace we will gap up.

I dont mind if Riot goes up 25% and we go up 5% in US - think about the ride when the Nasdaq listing happens .... it will be a thing of beauty.

Relax knowing what you are invested in - a good week behind us and a good week ahead.

A good consolidation though - look at the month we have had so far. We cant get too used to 20% days ..... i am happy with today .... a NASDAQ RNS and Machine RNS next week at some point would be good and then trading update on 3rd March and in the background let BTC do its thing.

I am KR1 and it always tends to re-rate first thing and then no movement so took the re-rate this morning as I have now bagged and cased some in then waited on ARB knowing it would be dropped and managed to get in at £2.62 so very good day today (so far)

BTC will break 53k today or over the weekend (no its too early to say it) I think, new machines on line, I am looking forward to the operational update on 3rd March.

Let's not forget that in the last 10 days ZCASH has just about doubled - outperforming BTC which hopefully means we can underpin operations with cash in hand longer without spending any BTC.

Good day today - we cannot attack 20%+ every day - shares moved to stickier hands - 37m volume all in 260p+ hands (not a lot in 260p I would suggest) - 10% of shares shuffling issue traded in one day - UK alone.

Often overlooked gem that.

On Friday last week we closed at £1.42 - we are currently £2.75 (US $3.87 = £2.78) and on Friday BTC was $47.8k - now $51.5k

So as of now - we are up since last Friday by 93% BTC is up by 8%

There will always be pullbacks as we consolidate and this is just four days - what do people want? Relax and enjoy the ride, if you want to buy in dips do so, but do we really think this is not going up with month end results and Nasdaq looming?

On google just enter RIOT SHARE PRICE or MARA SHARE PRICE - the graph comes up and under the SP and yesterday price it shows you pre-market change under the 'Closed' status.

If you do it after 9pm it shows you post market as well so you can see how it continued to trend.

Agree JHolder - hopefully the Antminers they already have are on a truck somewhere en route to Serbia (I think) .....

An RNS laying out the plan and timescales on these machines that they already have would be good as they did the raise to sort this. E.g. data centre commissioning on x date, expect to start mining on y date.

I would hope post court decision, we get an RNS and if positive it details the amount and the plans as to what to spend it on (more Antminers please ....)

I had to pay a premium for my last top up this morning as well but locked in now for the ride, just gotta decide which horse to watch which day between this and ARB.

@Pete - I can see you are passionate about CLP with 385 posts in the last 30 days (only 5 on other boards) and only 533 since joining so I get that. I am in ARGO and I am not sure it adds much credibility posting and debating on other boards (so I am posting here on CLP).

The way I see it is that CLP could go either way. There are two key events for me:

1. Relocate the Antminers and get the mining BTC - 500PetaHash is a good start.
2. Gain something from the settlement (it may be a total of 30m it may not - it isn't up to us - it is up to the courts) and invest this in expanding the BTC mining operation.

If they can pivot to BTC mining successfully then I think the MCAP is ridiculous - however both have to happen otherwise I do not see the exponential growth. Even if only (1) happens the MCAP is ridiculously low depending on mining margins which we wont know until they are reported. So yes it could be a 10x 50x 100x bagger in time but there is a lot to do.

I have taken a position in CLP as I think it is more likely to happen than not - but I am also prepared to see my money disappear if the board do not execute or do not invest further in mining - the BoD does not compare to the ARGO BoD in terms of transparency and quality in my opinion.

This is not the next ARGO in the near future by any means, the whole set up from CEO down and strategy at ARGO is an exemplar to any business but CLP is a long way away. This is fine, but keeping saying it doesnt make it happen.

Let's see what the next month holds in the court case and update on mining, we just need to sit on hour hands or get out.

Forget SP. that is dependent on shares in issue.

Riot mcap is $5.5bn
Argo mcap is £1.0bn so roughly 1/3

That means our SP has to increase 3 fold to have the same valuation as Riot.

I can not help replying - Baltimore Technologies - my first ever share - bought £2k got nothing left . That is some years ago. I then didnt bother after so not really dealing at that point - just got a tip from someone at work (I know!) My wife still reminds me!

Just a thought but Peter Wall is a visionary. Not only does Texas give cheap electricity but watching the news tonight it has natural cooling available. He is has the BTC Midas touch!
