One thing we know for certain is that today is the last day for our American cousins to buy and be eligible for Stem shares so maybe, just maybe we will see a decent lift from Nasdaq this afternoon. Let's see what happens at 1:30

Record date for UK holders is clear: 7am 30th October, if you're not on the register at that time then you dont get Stem shares.
Ex entitlement date is 2nd November so if you sell any TILS shares before then you're NOT entitled to STEM shares on the number of TILS you sell.
Anyone selling today, tomorrow or Friday will not receive any Stem shares

NelsonTheDog, you clearly dont understand the mechanics of a short position.
1. You borrow the shares you want to short let's say 1000 shares
2. You sell those 1000 shares at a price say £1 you now have £1000 but no longer own the shares
3. Yhe share price drops to 80p you buy back the 1000 shares for £800
4. You give back 1000 shares to the lender and you keep £200
Whilst your short position is open you DO NOT OWN the shares whoever bought them when you sold does.
This is why it's extremely dangerous to have an open short position at time of Demerger because when it's time to give back the shares (on demand) you also have to give Accustem shares as well

Y-Alam if they close shorts after demerger how can they return the borrow and provide the lender an equivalent number of Accustem shares? Bearing in mind Accustem shares wont be tradeable for up to 2 months post demerger

HL have got that wrong. You MUST be on the register at 7am on 30th October to qualify for the Accustem shares. It's all quite clear in the documentation, look through the relevant RNS

Yes ADR holders are entitled to 2 Accustem shares for each ADR held

The shorts will have to close prior to the demerger otherwise anyone with an open short position will find themselves having to give back the borrowed shares and also give the lender equivalent Accustem shares in order that the lender is in the same position they would have been had they not leant out the shares. Anyone holding an open short position at 7am on 30th October could well find themselves in the very difficult position of owing someone TILS shares and an equivalent amount of Accustem shares which as we know wont be available for up to 2 months. Wouldnt envy anyone it that position!! I believe we will see a rally tomorrow onwards up until close of business on 27th as the short positions will close and new investors come on board or current holders add to their positions

Cant be far off a TR1 now Mozax!! Accumulation continues at these levels and the MMs continue to punish the weak holders. If you're willing to hold onto these for more than 30 minutes (Mr 12k yesterday) and do some research you'll realise that the potential here is massive. All we need is for GS to sort out the bits and pieces of the jigsaw, get them all into place and it's time to reap the rewards. Reputations are on the line here and I'm confident that GS, DS and the team will deliver, when is the question? Judging from previous RNS information it cant be too much longer to wait

If outstanding warrants aren't exercised prior to the demerger then the warrant holder will be given an equivalent number of warrants in the demerged company available to exercise on the same terms as the TILS warrants.
It is intended that holders of warrants and options over Tiziana Shares will be granted equivalent instruments in respect of Accustem Shares as a part of the Demerger.

No need to report on yesterday's court hearing as nothing would have been decided. There should however be an RNS following next weeks court hearing which will approve the capital reduction and thereby confirm that the demerger will be going ahead

Ruling isnt today, todays is just the first of 2 hearings

Goes to show exactly how the low freefloat makes this move on any buying pressure. News due any time soon and if it's as expected then we can see a massive rerate here which will make a lot of Alpha holders very wealthy indeed
