Do you not think as well that companies are having to adjust to the fact that being green and meeting required standards and contract clauses is going to be slightly more than previous. We know that diesel historically enjoyed tax concessions which made it very cheap to use, that is now no longer and companies are having to adjust.
Of course the more that AFC can get their costs down then the better the product will look to those interested.
Thank you Constructivenews :-)
Which link please
It’s always been a given that newer green tech is going to be more expensive than the old diesel kit. However I was surprised that it was only 14% last year, so if that has now been reduced to bring the two closer together then makes a better case for adoption by the various industries.
So positive moves forward and maybe even better for Speedy to pitch to their customer base.
Friend???? is that possible?
Good wishes to all and may we see progress this year to justify our belief in AFC, whether you like the management or not.
Oh well a 5% rise on the back of no visible effort will sit well with a few people I’m sure.
Repeat as my original post has vanished
gingerT - I'm open to everyone's views but ultimately any decision I make is mine and mine alone, I certainly would not then moan about someone else giving me rubbish advice when things don't work out.
So Ade took advice from someone on a forum and has based his share policy on that ????
hahahaha
GingerT keeps implying that there is significant news coming in Feb from the Middle East region from whatever source they have. Now it may true or it may be complete tosh, only gingerT knows that. So take it for what you think and we shall see in Feb whether it is true or not, all I will say is don't base any decisions purely on that and dyor. That way the decision is solely yours based on what you find for yourself.
I just took him off filter for a mo to see how he's coping, answer - not well. A real sense of angst in his posts, oh dear how said never mind. Anyway back on filter and return to the green boxes of delight
Clearly he's still being a moron so just filter him and remove his chance to antagonise and engage with everyone. I just see the green box of stupidity and it doesn't bother me one bit.
I never like Friday RNS’s but agree it was best to get it out as soon as everything was ready and give people as much time as they could before the AGM. What does make me laugh is the usual suspects saying that they will have to go away and review it fully. Normally they have fully analysed previous RNS’s within 30 secs of release and posted their great wisdom to the masses within a minute. However this time they decide that they need to read it fully?? Now that is something I would call hilarious and has me wondering what time their conference call is to discuss their agenda and approach in the coming days. Roll on Monday to get a feel for what the market feels and then to the AGM to get better details from AFC themselves :-). A good weekend to all
nice to see dw has started Friday with a smile :-) did the barista not put enough beans in the coffee this morning then ?
at present many companies are looking at various green alternatives and so, from a business point of view, it makes sense to be fully sure that that it fully meets the criteria. I'm sure that Acciona are more than happy with it but they are running their due diligence still to be absolutely sure, after all we're not talking pennies for multiple systems. There is still the chance that they are weighing up whether leasing or outright purchase is best for them and this order gives that chance to evaluate it more.

I still think that the Power Tower is a viable option for many customers as it could be considered a 'light' version compared to the H-Power Generator - as the RNS indicated that is more geared for 'heavy duty construction and temporary power market'. Either way I'm happy if we have both options available for lease/purchase
So Money, if this board is of little value then why are you hanging around here? Clearly no one looks to be taking any notice of your advice and views - which may or may not be the right thing to do - so why waste your time trying to educate those who are not listening?
You have put your views out there, which is allowed on a public board, so probably best for your sanity to then move on. Either you'll be right and many here will lose out or you'll be wrong, in which case you can avoid the deluge of comments which will come your way. The other option is to sit quietly, observe and keep your own council but I can guarantee that to keep slating the quality of the board whilst still staying around is not going to help your cause whatsoever. Doing that is going earn you the title of troll and all the respect that goes with it.
ah but can he? perhaps that was filled in for him by a bot :-)
cheers haggis and dw that makes sense just I wasn't completely sure
haggis re the testing in Germany, could it be a pre-requisite for the system being approved for use in Germany as well? I'm not sure what the regulations might be but possibly stringent than some countries. Therefore some base testing/validation needed in country before it could be deployed there?
