It’s the MF do you have to take anything they say with a very large pinch of salt. They’re ok for getting names into the public view but don’t trust their research - always do your own
Just for any new investors looking at this thread. Aandi provides the links to help you find out some of the available information out there. They are by no means exhaustive and anyone would advise you to look elsewhere, but they are a starting point.
Unfortunately some people here have an axe to grind, so much so that it has long been reduced to a small nail file.
As the saying goes DYOR and use that to decide whether to invest in Eqtec or not. Don’t base your decisions on what people say and that applies whether they are pro-Eqtec or anti-Eqtec
DYOR and GLA
I’d prefer if it was coming from anywhere other than the muttley muppets. Their research is somewhere between none and bugger all.
Give it a week and someone from there will be lots of reasons not to invest in Eqtec
Haggis I like reading your posts but saying karma when people may not be in a position to swop from petrol or diesel is way out of line. I’m a diesel driver and want to switch over but can’t do that at the moment. So I don’t think means I’m due a visit from karma in the future
Craig just put him on filter. He’s got fewer and fewer people to talk with so just posts gibberish to get some feedback. Besides green boxes make the board look nice :-)
Do we know when this was written, as it quotes the ‘current’ share price as being 1.65p. So just trying to get a feel as to when it was done. Personally I’d be more than happy to see it reach 5p and higher so, before anyone suggests, this is not a bash or deramp
The filter option is your friend on this board:-)
Any chance that big announcements could be made at the British Motor Show? There would be a huge amount of media there and potentially a way to get out directly to the motor press in one hit.
Given that the website shows as copyright AFC Energy 2021 then your Google link might be out of date soon then mate.
Oh well end the week using the filter option and you’re the lucky winner - bye
Reg, don’t worry about hairpin. He’s just tetchy today as the RNS being issued meant he had to get up earlier than usual to hate on Eqtec. He’s never a happy bunny when he doesn’t get his 12 hrs of sleep every day
An interesting update and hopefully the contents will help settle those people who have been twitchy in recent weeks. In my view things are moving forward nicely and I believe that we will see great strides taking place in the next few months.
GLA LTH
Well if they offset your negativity TP then that’s a trade most here will happily accept.
And very rarely do AFC put any RNSs out on a Friday too, so I’ll take that as a plus today :-)
Protect suggest you add some credible reasons behind your ramping statement- else you’ll end up on the filter list of a lot of people here
The guy who wrote the article is a total tool anyway. His last article said that AFC was in fact making fuel cells for hydrogen cars. I wrote to the site editor and told him that his lad had got it wrong. The reply back, after consultation with the writer, was that AFC had indicated that they were interested in such things. Therefore the writer was not wrong in the slightest- that summed up the Muppet Tools for me entirely.
All they are good for is putting some company names out there that people may not of heard of. Otherwise ignore any ‘research and guidance’ completely and DYOR.
For the 80’s buffs here we could have Spandau Ballet at the opening, performing “Communication” as the opener………sorry I’ll get my coat :-)
Took some reading but I can’t see how this can be taken as anything other than positive- though sure some will. We always knew H2 2021 was going to be a key time and hopefully our patience will finally be justified.
One part that I did note was the section:
‘ The Directors are working with advisors and partners to establish the best means by which the Company will be able to disclose details of its order book and its commercial pipeline in order to provide confidence to the market of the Company's prospects.’
So despite some griping about lack of information affecting the SP and that AFC are doing nothing to mitigate this it does seem that this is not the case. They are aware and are looking to provide information in a way that keeps interested parties updated whilst protecting their interests. So for the whiners out there I hope this will give you less to moan about.
In all a good RNS and I look forward to more like this over the next few months.
Got a better word for you CB - filtered- which is what has now happened to you. Enjoy your rants matey
Better still look at the Official London Stock Exchange page for AFC which shows the close as 61.7. - bit more reliable than Google methinks
Only 64 price I see was for a trade after closing time which was way above anything else paid around then or during the day. Think someone is getting confused
