Hi coldspy ( honestly not following u from vcp!) :). Stupid question but as there are so many buys but the price has not moved up does this concern you? Surely should move up? Is this MMs controlling the range ( somehow!). Thanks

Ugh- was hoping for a RNS this morning but the fact some random poster is the apparent source should have alerted us all to how unlikely this was. Same person who said put 3 March in diary....🤣 the nail biting goes on.

I think S are loving this opportunity and will be keen to get it wrapped up as others will be circling. Had this not been the case an offer of circa 90p- 1.05 but as its very much an issue I suspect circa 1.40-1.50 might be in play. I remember going through the offer period with directline last Dec and the forum was so exciting to read but it was really stressful too as constantly worried an offer might not land/ might be rejected etc! What also threw me was the share price not reaching the offer price straigh-taway- apparently it's normal for the last 15-20% to be reached over a few months but then u worry it may all fall apart during DD! Fingers crossed it's more than any of us think and it's wrapped up ASAP!!! Love the buzz of being in a potential take over stock!!! Eeek

With DL offer was 272 and once offer confirmed it rose a lot from about 170ish to 230 once co firmed went to about 250ish and then slowly made it ways ( and went over a bit!) The offer over last 2 months(ish).

I don't think this is going to collapse. It's like jd and a whole host of other retailers suffering froma double whammy: Reeves and trump. Hopefully interest rate cuts and some positive movement from labour re the budget should give this one the kick it needs as no way is this a circa 90-99p share. Unfortunately re trump we need actual divine intervention....

Interested to see how retail generally responds tomorrow ( assuming their is a rate cut). Should hopefully give us all some comfort that the stock is solid and and it's external factors that are the issue. @wiscos i have no doubt that you are right: patience will be rewarded!

Why do they show as unknown?? Surely the system knows if a buy or a sell. Hopefully not a sell but today's price indicates it was :( oh well it will come good in the end. In JD we trust :)

PS looking at some of the posts and what is being invested here is just WOW... I am v much a tiny fish in an even tinier fishbowl 🤣

Doh- just seen it ! Thank you! I think it will fall a lot tbh- feels like the government is saying it wants to control ticketing and trainline may not necessarily be their preffered partner ...governments have a tendency to partner with pals...

@retirement_plan I recall you saying it has a tendency to drop so have kept it on my watchlist since exiting in the hope of a buying opp. Does anyone know what caused this drop as I can't find any news... thanks

@wiscos it does feel like it's all manipulated at times. So quick to drop it but will not let it climb. I personally think should have been atleast 105 today. So even though I totally agree re it being v cheap I am not going to add any more pennies as it's too frustrating. I think biggest boost here would be Reeves exiting and that budget binning.

I personally think given the decline last week and the really good update today it's very disappointing this did not smash through £1. Right now sitting at 96...who would even know we had such a good update looking at this price? Frustrating as when the Board suggested caution they tanked the price but now they have proven success-it jumps up a few points.

More like nail biting! 🤣 I really want wiscos to be correct as I think he has a lot of knowledge about this stock BUT I think the market is really not loving retail atm so I am a little concerned we could go the way of greggs/ marks etc. I guess the key diff is we have already faced a huge fall since the last update so there is merit in the argument that negative market sentiment / concerns re budget have already been baked into the SP and the price should therefore rise. Everything crossed that the 14th is a good one!

@coldspy u have a legendary ability to call this one so I am looking forward to see what next week brings. I exited on Friday as not enough just to trim so hoping for a cheeky opp to sneak back in before the next leg up! Have a great weekend!

Morning. With the slow falling of this one I am not feeling confident that we will be getting a positive update unfortunately. I would expect it to hold or even sneak up a little if good news was around the corner. Thoughts?

A little disappointing though given the MS increase, the number of buys and the highs this reached this morning. I am surprised it did not finish much higher tbh. I wonder if tomorrow will be the start of a re-trace (I hope not!).
