@hellodave not sure if it's worth inferring anything from the job listings as before the massacre and sidara re entry onto the scene.

Thought would be useful to go through possible outcomes:

If offer made and accepted before or on the 17th assume suspension will likely be halted. This is legislation.

If on the 17th an extension requested and granted does this mean suspension possibly pushed back or the two run concurrently?? Seems unfair if we can't trade but they can negotiate...

If sidara do nothing ( have been great at this so far!) Does it mean after the 17th locked out for 6 months??

If we enter into suspension there are zero guarantees that we will emerge intact...corillian etc evidence this. How is anyone able to have any confidence re a suspension being a good outcome when the likes of corillion had less debt and also flowered up their books etc... I get there are a lot of it's involved but so what- they can take a punch better than most.

Interested in views on the above scenarios- as i feel like there maybe a lot of wishful thinking clouding reality.

For what it is worth I think on a basic risk assessment sidara will make a full and final offer on the 17th. It may also make an offer sooner but this will be an initial low ball offer. If this happens I suspect will be tomorrow- giving it about 3 weeks to make a few more. I think too much time and effort has been expanded for it to just walk but who knows.. we all clearly don't- just look at the thousands of posts here!

@elite my error I meant less likely. As mentioned hate being so negative but everything seems to be indicating a not so great outcome for pi's. Of course i really want to be wrong. Sidara not pouncing for me speaks volumes. However this is all just my view and if one thing we can all agree on ( and this board evidences) we know v little about this situation. ...at one point our most authoritive source was some random on x with a handful of followers! You have got to laugh ( or cry!) All the best. Fingers crossed it's a great outcome.

@elite u have been referring to an offer incoming/ deal done and the only thing that has actually changed is the price going south. Some 2 bit article about a view ( no more informed than any of us) does not mean a deal is incoming unfortunately. Today marks return to normal for sidara and no rns. I personally think with each day passing a deal becomes less unlikely. I would also be cautious of posts adding more funds here - wg has shown itself to be highly untrustworthy so don't throw any more hard earned cash at it as so far it's not done anything to show its actually got investors interests at heart. Hate to be so negative on this one but that rns and alluding to a suspension ( which they new about on 14 feb) has properly scre*ed the pi. I love how everyone keeps saying this ain't aim stock...the last few weeks could have fooled me!!!!

@elite I would suggest yesterday was a car crash as the only singular fact. All staged by wood and sidara ( possibly) to make a stupidly low ball offer palatable. This is alas no golden goose ...just another example of something failing in Britain. I wish I could be more positive but when u look at the facts v hard to remain so. Such a shame as this had all the hallmarks of rising like a phoenix.

I would love a blue finish but we are still looking at a 16% drop for news that should have been baked in. However if by some luck we are back in blue by the end of the day then we should in theory be better placed for a decent offer still. Thisnone is certainly not for the faint hearted.. aim market is walk in the park compared to this one. Ps how the fuxx has the ceo not been dropped kicked out of there!!!!!

So wg new when this report would land right?? Hence sidara new too? This means the 17th April was set factoring in the report which wg already had sight off as on 14 feb alluded to it.

This does not read as rosy as the update indicated...in particular looking back no impact but does not say looking forward it has no impact. If shares are suspended does it mean frozen where we are???

@rixk123...the fact he is involved in so many ai companies is surely something to be cautious about?? Would be different if just joined here but at loads. So why would this one rather than the other bucket loads fair better than the rest??? Feels like he is simply attaching self to as many as possible to maximise finding the nvidia of ai. Thoughts?

Weekly(ish) check in and absolutely nothing has changed. Still no wiser as.to a deal or not. I would say ' let's hope next week is better' but I doubt it!

@tallies does this mean you are surprised by the current sp? I am surprised given there were circa 8m sales and over 14m buys and the price dropped. Well done for raising this and investing time and effort pursuing-helps every pi invested.

@LWHL... exactly feels like we are know better in the know following the rns. If anything binned the one thing we thought we new-that it would happen quick. Key word in rns is "possible". Let's see how the shorts react that may actually tell us something!

Given the number posts over the last 3 weeks and being not a mm wiser I guess best to check back on the 17th. As two things we have learnt is that this is not going to be a quick deal and there will be no leaks.

Extension not a surprise...although the reasons given ( deloitte/ refinancing are known issues ) meaning a quick deal was never on the card as per the first leak via the ft. Assuming it's the same leak / source so I interpret this as crossing Ts etc.. also once both completed the sp will jump with our without a bid. The sidara bid might mean both conclude faster which again good for sp. Obviously disappointed no offer but it was wishful thinking rather than logic led ( for me anyways) to expect it tomorrow. Still all to play for.

Dark_knight I have watched for a 7am rns for what feels like a lifetime so I don't think one will land 7am sharp. In fact think tomorrow likely to be a frustrating day of watching the share stay where it is or drop further until v late in the day. Would love a 7 am offer but just don't see it happening.

@bigdid69 I am with you. Unknown kind of means could be a buy or a sell ...certainly in the English language. 🤣 I think it's a valid question and the response u got was just plain rude. Annoys me when questions are shot down like that...like this forum is for Warren buffet et Al 🤣 I think those people who have level 2 access ( they can see order books etc might know) but us mere mortals can just but guess.

I suspect it's going to drop further before it resumes ascent. The fall out from this event is huge.

I don't this the KM purchases have anything at all to do with the offer. Looking at the pattern (monthly /about the same amount) just a part of his pay renumeration maybe. Also pretty sure he is not allowed to buy atm- insider dealing?
