I use HL too. But whatever UK broker you use I don't think there will ever be any detail unless Portage list on another exchange such as the Nasdaq ... which as you no doubt know is the rumour ...

No idea, there's obviously a number of factors. I suggest nobody give up their shares until we reach a £1 (which as I said suits my situation but won't make everybody happy).

The patent is good news undoubtedly but I also find the trading frenzy on this particular occasion, and not others, something of a mystery.

If it reaches a quid then I'll definitely be laughing. The long wait will have been worthwhile. I'll even look back on Sid and frus fondly, well maybe not.

Most of the trades listed so far are pretty small - the exception being the 10:59 "apparent" buy. I agree with others that we should wait for the close. In any case a 1p (3.6%) drop is within the noise for stock like this and I would attach no significance to it.

Thanks for sharing the calculation. And if we divide £8,884,198 by 37 million issued Salv shares we get 24p .... around the current mid of a very wide spread. I dipped a tentative toe in at 22.4p a few days ago, hopefully a good decision. On any reasonable news this should rise abruptly although it might be a while ...

Yes eagerly awaiting the Portage shares too. It's been an interesting journey to here. I came to Salv as a 3legs holder and only got interested in 3legs because I was/am a san leon (sle) holder which itself came via a tip from a work colleague. Still waiting for sle to deliver but looking promising now, as is Portage and as many have said the salv shell could go anywhere.

Gopies2 I think this will fly longer term but on another price of good news. Short term I'm waiting for the price to settle down further - ie for all the quick buck traders to get impatient and move on.(Nothing wrong with quick buck trading of course!) - before buying again (I have along term holding in this, plus trade it when conditions are right per the other day)

A great example yesterday was DNL - little or no trading for extended periods, some news, some pumping and the day traders arrive in force - good to exploit if you can see it coming !

Having said that short term all the day traders will sell up at some point (today!) and we will settle down below current levels IMO before steady rises in the mid-term
