Not knocking any purchase however small. Mine was much larger - the point being that I am putting money where my mouth is.

An SBB at 50p or thereabouts is now , for me, a lot more attractive than the previous one as I have been accumulating for a while at prices between 19.8 and 26.5p. A divi would also be nice, my preference previously.

And my top up is not listed on this site (it's not the c£160 trade !)

Obviously the price bottom 20 years ago is not very relevant, cj. 2016 is more relevant. And how much the Russians can take now is pertinent as much as the Saudis.

Wider market hasn't affected DNL price yet ie no drop but you could argue it should be higher by now. I already have high exposure to this but would buy again if it dropped to 25/26p again ...

OK from the silence it looks like there is no hedge that we know of (?).
But if our costs are $10-$15 then we should be OK. How far are the Saudi's prepared to go is the question ...

I guess some sold anticipating a drop in the sp after the bb ended thus causing the sp drop ;-)

Just to show how I am thinking, I bought a few more just now ... my last 5 buys periodically from from 9/2017 are @ 25.6, 21.23, 21.63, 26.5 and 26.22p

Eadwig, thanks for summarising the BB trades. It's going to take a rather long time to become significant. My patience has held so far even though I have been tempted to sell out several times ...
