And, yes, the wider market is down and we have had a massive gain lately so a drop is perhaps not surprising as suggested by others.

I just bought 88,792 shares by mistake (while checking buy-sell prices) so these may pop-up later ...

Sorry. I missed this - the 1,000,000 sells at 10:18 and 11:28 might have something to do with the price drop!

MMs may be short of shares perhaps to fill a big order (speculation!). Also i) from experience not all trades are reported on this site and ii) buy/sell designations are well known to be inaccurate. Peeps with L2 will have better insight ...

Bottom line is, OF is no mug when it comes to his personal finances so he must think/know there is significant news to come and minimal risk on the downside despite the battering the world economy is taking tight now.

I remain curious like others about TF selling for 21p but bluerill has made some plausible suggestions.

And I guess the sp will drift until the next piece of positive news.

Buffett, as I expect you have seen, has sold his companies significant stakes in the 4 major us airlines so he for one is seeing a change ... nobody knows how this will pan out in the wider economy. So I am sitting tight on the bulk of my cash right now. For RDSB specifically I'm staying out for the time being (I had been heavily invested for many years).

A few small trades and a 16% rise - I know the free float is small (partly why I'm here) but I suspect there are some orders/trades we are not seeing (I don't use L2 so this is pure speculation).

Redeyemines, good points. Let's see if the virus doesn't simply resume its spread as restrictions are lifted. Also, the Chinese are reopening factories etc just as demand from the West has collapsed for many things. Further who knows what the truth is in China?

redeyemines, you must know that the SLE sp doesn't follow reasoning such as this, at least short to medium term. Anyway I am not a holder now but watching and waiting to get back in ...

BS Well I've now capitulated, no more SLE (or most other shares) until things settle down.
