Yes I wouldn't want to suggest another reason but there may well be one. Seems to me the share price of miners seem to live very much in the moment but if the rouble has slumped to record lows then it couldl take some time to get back up. Only looked at the three month chart here so will have to take your word for it that there has been huge upside - though I'd maybe omit the huge. All the best if you are looking to buy back in. I might buy but I think I have enough miners and am really looking for an insurer to complete my winter pf.

Hi Roy - I was meaning that we are entering the Christmas shopping period. Even when families don't have a lot they tend to push the boat out then. I've always loved it and had my very own Christmas baby who has always had separate birthday and Christmas presents. Unfortunately the bonhomie doesn't last for very long and regrettably it sometimes doesn't extend to these bbs. Once had an atheist boss who loved the festive season for the very same reasons.

Absolutely no surprise to see this up this morning. The recent Q3 rns reads a bit differently to the FT and FT Alphaville and says "From 1 January 2015 changes to the VAT rules on the place of supply mean that all of the Group's French poker revenues are now expected to become subject to VAT and that this would result in a reduction of gross revenue of approximately €0.5m per annum. Whilst we do not currently foresee any other changes, we continue to monitor the tax rules and their application to e-commerce across all of the markets where we have customers." Sorry don't have any of the details in the Deutsche bank research note issued on Friday recommending this as a buy but if anybody else does then I wouldn't mind reading the detailed content. I'm sure some financial journalist could get this info and put us in the picture. GLA

Yes I remember buying some in the sixes last year around the same time as garyn. They didn't stay down at that price for very long though and I think you have to trade the volatility here. Over the past year or so, fres has had plenty of ups and downs whereas if you owned say supermarket shares it's been almost exclusively down so I guess even sleeping tablets don't work for holders of those lol certainly seen a few posting on there in the wee small hours. Goodnight and don't have nightmares as the continuity announcer used to say when the telly shut down for the night after the screening of the horror films. Well it's still Hallow'een after all.
