Well as my old father- in-law says those who can do and those who can't teach. I seldom take too much notice of brokers' views myself but if they were all saying the same thing then I might but then I have also known situations where that was the case and they were all wrong. Gerry has sometimes been like my bb husband so I know his views as expressed elsewhere pretty well and I am sure he thinks the brokers just talk up their own book. I think the other one said his old papa used to work at rr, and it was a sentimental buy in for him here but it sure presents an opportunity to run the company down. The other trader who said he worked at rr. and posted all day with the negatives only has had the sense to move on or rr. caught him misusing their time. Look out for the buy back from the institution who likes to mess around.

I am pretty sure I have read you saying on other bbs that you don't care much for brokers reports as you feel they are like Motley Fool articles i.e. very changeable so I wonder why, if that is the case, you are posting links with a single broker's view on this share? Not really sure what it is with yourself and Arsenal. You seem to have no issues with another poster who constantly talked the rr. down then bought in, moaned about methods of receiving dividends - a pet subject of yours - and has posted ludicrously low, as it now turns out, forecasts for the share price. I'm not surprised frankly some people get a bit aerated on these bbs. You know my view on shares. If you are an unhappy holder get on your boat and sail to pastures new. Seems to me though that unhappy holders tend to be all the more unhappier as the ex divi date approaches. Must see if that theory holds good here.

Thanks I guess there is no point in posting on the Tesco bb at the moment until some semblance of sanity can be restored . I bought a tranche of pmo instead of selling last week lol but I'm not worried. Broker's fault but did well with other tranches. At least cobos camping on tullow bb as there are already enough motormouths on pmo as it is. LOL the baby moniter has just sounded so I am needed elsewhere.

It makes no sense for you to be posting here. Why are you not posting on the Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury bbs if that's the retail holdings you have though you have got some sparklers as well such as HL. I might take Cobo off the filter tomorrow again but there's no chance of me doing that with Shippy. I read a few of her posts on Tesco today and she seems like another one of these woman who is obsessed with me and no harm to anybody but I only swing the one way and I'm into men. It was one of your mates that was bleating to me about keeping my views on the supermarkets to myself as you were heavily invested and we know from Can and Shippy that Tesco is a dodo. LOL. You are also claiming to know what Mike Ashley is up to. You haven't a clue. You are small fry to the likes of him and he'll chew you up if he likes. You didn't even understand the effects of what spd were doing here last week and how it pushed up the price so I don't want to waste any more time on you. I think it will be sideways next week so may or may not look at near term opportunities elsewhere. But if spd continue buying you are toast and I don't care lol. I don't live on bbs Can. You're only getting the courtesy of a reply because Call the Midwife finished last week and the Antiques Roadshow is full of as big bores as yourself. You were trying to promote your stagnant shares on here last week and then admitted you were not qualified to advise. I want deb to come down next week so I can buy but I must admit it would give me more satisfaction to see big Mike dishing out the Gregory Powders to you. You and your friend remind me of the Rev I M Jolly and Ephesia after they drank the lovely watter. It doesn't matter if you don't know what I am meaning, the majority of the rest of us on this bb will know.

Hold your horses right there Can. I brought up emg only insofar as you mentioned it on here last week as a better trade (you don't invest seemingly and just go long or short for the day/ten days/decade etc. whatever it takes to limit your losses or reach breakeven or profit) than deb. In the space of a week, you have got that one wrong as well. I am not interested in anything you do elsewhere and I generally don't push my other investments on this bb unless there is a definite link between the companies etc. In fact, if somebody promotes another share on a different bb then I now avoid it like the plague and that applies even or especially when they are a frequently recommended poster pushing an Aim's share. I know some people like to build up reputations as traders by chasing the morning casualties and I really don't have the time nor the inclination to check out if that's what you did with tullow but the real skill will be in telling where that will go when all the Irishmen are back from the races, St Patrick's Day and the rugby celebrations and the next big move in oil price and we would need to see a declaration of your opening and closing positions before we could infer anything about how you really did there . With deb's you are playing with fire because spd have the fire power to blow you right out of the water if they want to so I hope for your sake as a relatively small fry you know when to call it quits. I knew a shorter on these bbs was ruined when a share rose by over 200% in a couple of hours. He lost his wits and starting to drink and was never the same man again. Not saying that could happen here but you could get yourself in a bit of a pickle. Sunday nights are for relaxing away from a keyboard for me so that's your lot.

I've taken two winning positions in opposition to you Can in your short time here, looked at your tip of emg which hardly moved but declined and so off to research a few more winning positions of my own elsewhere. As dierich would say who's the daddy.

You currently have 3 losing short positions here and the time you have held them is stacking up. On the supermarkets, I remember one of your mates who is probably a current top poster telling me not to speak my mind because he had a lot of good friends heavily invested. I just thought how pathetic and a hypocrite because said person has stuck the boot into a few shares. spd had options in Tesco some time back confirmed to be closed now. Like the groupie by the way and know all the various names. Some people spend their time researching companies others waste it tapping recommendations with a string of usernames but it is ignored by the general LSE community. No respect from me I'm afraid Can until you say something on this bb that reaps you some sort of profit same goes for your puppets.

40p seems a bit arbitrary and I wouldn't accept it for my free shares - don't think Norges etc. would either as debs is in better shape arguably than sports direct right now. A real statement of intent would be 29.9% held as shares not options but didn't Sainsbury's have a holder with that amount for yonks and nothing came of it. Re. your enquiry on the other bb - sold and kept my free shares brings the average down so if it goes up I win some more and if it falls I buy some more at an opportune time so as you said win win situation. No need to set any time limit or target if there is the slightest indication that somebody might be planning a bid. It would be a long time in the coming but patience is often rewarded.
