Haven't been able to add here since the results. Money is in other shares at the moment. Probably current known factors already reflected in the price but who knows. The are you being served stuff with Captain Peacock, Mr. Lucas and Mrs. Slowcome is very passe and already done by myself and another poster so very stale now. No I think our shippy has no more clue than the next person - maybe even less. Only stuff I have seen her do are some trading of the indices that never seemed to work out even with the benefit of hindsight and a don't know which way hedge at Tesco but a bias to the short side that went wrong. I think she is more Scottish than most on here and having been here a long time posting now would be nice to see the money where the mouth is if she has the courage of her convictions that is.

If you are convinced the share price will fall shippy then you should short it but you aren't going to make any money taking no action and just talking about it. Did I see you selling shares on the rise somewhere yesterday that you hadn't bought lol. It happens a lot on lse.

Is it likely to continue going up though. Nearly bought in here the day of the big fall and mentioned it on another bb but it was already on the rise before I could do anything. Wasn't sure who had bought here or when to be frank and suppose it could be the same with the selling and actually though there was only one poster in reality.

Anything that gets the population its five a day and uses up fruits which have a short shelf life is good. I am not near one so don't drive to one all that often and my kids are old enough to remain in the car so miss out on the free fruit. Been using a series of £8 off a £40 spend at waitrose of late because there's a free tea or coffee and "quality" newspaper which might just have something pertaining to the Modern Studies curriculum and have been passing its door but have no loyalty to any of them. Eat a lot of ice cream actually but never tried yours and some waffles from homebargains with caramel sauce from waitrose, m and s or the national trust. I think the latest trend on lse is for some to pat themselves on the back for selling a share on the rise when there was no evidence of them having bought it but I suppose that's less harmful to the masses than people selling on the quiet. So you think this lack of declarations of action on the Tesco and other bbs is the small man not wanting to show his hand to the big guys. May be something in that you never know.

Typo in my post last night in line two, I meant to type intimidated. The confusion earlier seems to haver arisen from thinking you might have been referring to spd and not another share.

I can understand why you wouldn't post on the Tesco bb Kiev as the holders and buyers seem a bit intimated except the real diehards and quite a bit of off topic stuff. Sometimes with these proposed mergers and takeovers, the money is only to be made on the day of the announcement as there is always the chance of the thing falling through for one reason or other. Got shot of my sky asap for that very reason but good luck to you with it.

I was only a slip of a girl when I held on steadfastly to hmv shares because I thought a mature man like yourself knew what he was talking about and that's why you and liberalboy held so many and were looking down your noses at smaller holders. In actual fact, the news stories are that Woolworths might make a high street comeback though I suspect wilco et al have stolen their market. hmv are still there even with all the structural decline etc. in the product they were selling. If you think Debenhams stores are dated then I suggest you pop in for an eyebrow threading before your next singing appearance on stage. Yes share price not good at the moment but the situation is not as dire as you are making it out to be. Guess you've got to be in it to win and as soon as I can shift anything of worth, I'll be looking in here again.

10.23% but some would argue that gives shares a degree of volatility for trading that they wouldn't otherwise have and always the chance of a squeeze should some unexpected news arise so quite risky for retail investors imo atb will keep watching for now and still have my free ones.

Midway well you would need to remember the pub you mentioned on here before but I am not mentioning it as it sounds a pretty rude name and has no electric lighting yet. LOL how do you know I didn't sell spd first thing Monday morning, buy debs when it was down and sell up when she rallied as that is probably what you would have done. Thought about it mind you. Oh I think the shorting vampires have their teeth into this good and proper now and with a reason they didn't have before so I think we are looking at a case of pernicious anaemia until the transfusion service arrives. Midway In actual fact, spd on more of an upward trend than debs right at the moment no doubt helped along by a share buy back. But yes accept that at near the year low point, deb's may not offer too much more risk for a buyer or trader. I heard your favourite pub needed some wooden boards recently lol wonder what happened. Going to try somewhere in Glasgow today before another concert. Disappointing turn out for Chris de Burg midweek and the ladies in red were throwing their surgical stockings.

The Tesco bb is a disgrace in my viewpoint so maybe that's why you come on here lol. Nobody seems to be there to do anything with the share although I know you do hold and trade it from time to time. LOL I was back trading kaz over the Easter weeks. It's been a while lol but I remember as a holder on that bb getting a heck of a time but I wish some of the ones who said forty times a day that it was finished would return now. Seifert was doing his usual wind ups and being thanked for his insight by a supposed holder who might be his cousin for all I know or care. To be really insightful though you need to know when a share is likely to go up as well as fall. Let's hope Tesco does a kaz eh and it is guaranteed you will not see any of the derampers for dust.
