Can was here in March and I did two successful trades directly opposing his call at the time which were notified on this bb though I don't have to do that and yourself and others did similar. He was gone by April and I spotted another trading opportunity which I took. Sometimes I keep some free shares and other times I don't bother. You are absolutely correct that share prices change over time and some people trade the same company if they feel their research has given them a feel for it and others prefer to seek pastures new. I'd be extremely surprised to hear that somebody with a spread betting account opened a short on debs and kept it open for months and there is no evidence of that but the modus operandi is often to deliberately get banned or ask for your account to be closed at lse to cover tracks, reappear if you guessed the direction correctly in a few months and keep your head down if you guessed wrongly. What this character is doing is laughable. He has returned to the scene calling himself a god and has asked a few of his family or whatever to big him up and massage his ego on the bbs. He doesn't believe that we were all slick enough to buy and sell at the right time earlier this year even although he has the evidence but he does acknowledge that both longs and shorts can make money even if a share is performing under par. These types go around making assumptions and interrogating folk and shun any questions as to what exactly they are doing or have done with stocks. Just bodyswerve him though it can be frustrating I know to have the truth and history distorted. I think there probably are a few posters with brass necks on the mining and oil bbs who should probably get new ids given predictions for companies' collapses which haven't materialised and some have the brass necked cheek to post bullish comments at a later date on same. In the case of another copper miner, the doomed company went on to 6 bag. I spent enough of my time (which rbrand thought was a waste) while indoors awaiting a furniture delivery in DavSim's company to work out that it is more about ego than the money with him/her. There was a woman who posted on the Tesco and this bb of never having got any trade wrong so it is rife. Yes of course but do think shares held by small holders in nominee accounts can be used too unless some trading plan is set.
