Apparently waiting to source initial development funding before announcing.
Article is also on No2NuclearPower website, so expecting a fight with the environmentalists before any approval.

Big Ouch ha ha, not a good 6 months, Portfolio still in profit though, so happy to hold and see where we're at 2024/25... I sold Aston Martin at £17 (at a loss) so all things considered I could of been in a lot dire place.....
Coach, glad you got the grasp of it, your average is important if you want to day trade with profit in mind, your average was closer to 86p though hence why your profit might not cover repurchase costs.. My average is £1.27 so your small profit blows my potential loss out of the water lol... GL
The coachman, your figures don't add up, if you've got 3000 shares left worth £2900 then that would equate to a SP of 0.9666. I'm therefore presuming you spent £3000 @ £0.88 and £3500 @ 0.81 giving you more shares than the presumed 6500?
CGT on shares need to be declared by 31st December 2022 but don't leave it to the wire as HMRC will ponder your workings out of your gain and issue you with a bill, when I finally received the bill I only had a few days to pay until their 31st Jan deadline, If your TAXABLE gain on shares and income from your job etc falls within the basic taxpayer rate then you will pay 10% tax, anything in the higher rate will cost you 20%. As others have said there is no tax on any gains in an ISA, you also get a £2000 dividend allowance outside of an ISA...
A buy would have been unlikely at £1.6121, unfortunately showing as a sell on ADVFN. At 18:11 - Buy Volume 8860653 Sell Volume 26785382.
Looks like it came from the WHO regional office in Africa. Couldn't find it mentioned within their latest omicron update from their main site....

I got in on update @ £1.83, surprised sp went down considering it was positive news and sp had been comfortably hanging around the £2 area. Green on Friday when most where in the red, so hopefully bodes well for the 24th....
Thanks
Using the online reporting via HMRC Gov Gateway looks like an unnecessary hassle, no simple option to report a final figure.
Phoning up is defo the way to go and their website confirmed the 31st December deadline...

"usually just a phone call to report gains sometime after 6th April."
I profited more than my CGT allowance 2020/2021, and haven't got round to reporting it to HMRC, presume I just call them and give them my calculated figure of what I owe (about £700), I made about 30 trades outside of my ISA and was fretting that I would have to list each loss/profit/costs etc individually, so to see "just a phone call to report gains" has got my attention :) - anyone got experience simply phoning HMRC with their CGT figure, and how easy was it?. and when would I normally have to report by, I've got 31st December 2021 in my head for some reason...
Presuming this refers to Rolls Royce winning the US B-52 engine upgrade contract, probably posted here in error but great news nonetheless...
$1.70 = £1.24 and I'm seeing a lot of profit taking, I'm finally back in paper profit and it would be nice to keep hold of it, it's been a long hard slog but now hopeful that the severe dips will be less frequent and we can progress...
I'm liking all those buys ending with a K, some chunky ones, not to mention the 3m, bodes well for tomorrow. I'm still £9500 in the red but hopefully blue by year end, in for at least another couple of years, we could do with RR results like this every week, hopefully fomo will keep this share buoyant for a bit...
I'm trying to remain upbeat, no movement in SP on Brexit deal or vaccine rollout is still pretty raw and keeps the feet on the ground, whilst nothing too negative (apart from Chile data concerns) a confirmation for May 17th is still needed., overall feels like we are on track & moving in the right direction, looking to part sell and rebuy in my ISA, intresting week ahead...
