Zoros, you are truly the worst informed poster on this site, it is the development costs up till DFS they are required to pay, and they would be insignificant, compared to the share they would get in Alpala alone, not mentioning the Solgold shares they hold. It's a non argument. I don't believe you have any idea of the scale of Alpala alone.

One further thought, why had no one bid for Cornerstone up till now. Excellent way to enter the fray.

Good morning addicknt, and thank you. I however on this point, think I hold a minority view. My reasoning is thus. Cornerstone have firmly rejected the deal. But as the date is the 12th ( I think the 13th is the close date ). We can all agree a lot is going to happen over that time period. I believe we will sign the Franco Nevada deal. We may have sight of the whole 2.85 billion deal. ( Nothing signed, but a RNS, of how it will be done ). The further drilling results, and of course that elusive PFS. This I believe, will increase the share price, although nothing surprises me lately. With an increased share price, and the coughing up of the money for their share of the development costs. I believe Cornerstone shareholders will go for this.

Good morning all, may I start by saying Oh Dear. I am in the minority view again. The share deal, does a number of things. I believe it will go through. But here is some of my reasoning on what this is about. Solgold, wants Alpala in its entirety. Why wouldn't it. They are not concerned about the share of development costs, if they get Cornerstone. This is a considerable dilution of the Newcrest and BHP holdings. The date of 12th October, is three days before BHP are released from their standstill agreement. If NM pulls this off, he is firmly in the driving seat. However if we get the Franco deal and PFS by then. The resultant change in price, will in my mind, say game over. No bids, far too expensive. And we head to production with a well defined plan.

Zoros, you cannot buy CGP for 3.3 million dollars, you are on about ENSA I think.

Excellent news. Quick question Solgold is buying Cornerstone through SolGold Canadian ExchangeCo Corp. A wholly owned subsidiary of Solgold. Does that mean it's under an umbrella company, or will Cornerstone be on SolGold's books. For what it's worth, I think the offer will be accepted, as they get a premium and it absolves them of any financial outlay. If this does come off, much harder for anyone to bid for us.

Good afternoon BNC, that's my point, DFS is close, so if we bid, then we meet the funding as we have paid for it. If say BHP bid, then they need to cough up at DFS, so shouldn't the Solgold offer take this into account. However if the bid is for Cornerstone in its entirety, as NM has recently said, then I suppose, it doesn't matter.

Thank you TBTT, as like yourself, I am unsure, however what I believe, is NM is apparently bidding for Cornerstone as a whole, and issues Solgold shares for the company, picking up ENSA and the Solgold shares.

Good afternoon TigerByTheTail, I am always unclear on this, but with first refusal, can Solgold match the bid, and deduct the share Cornerstone, is required to pay up, as whoever buys the ENSA part, surely they would need to cough up in the near future.

Sorry ssmith_trader, you say that we would have priced 80% of the value in, if this had been worth 3 billion. Let me remind you, we are at the PEA stage.

PEA= 10% of value
PFS= 30-40% of value
DFS= around 50% of value.

Rough figures, but pretty accurate, we are above 10% of value of 4.4 billion dollars NAV, which is the figure we should be using.

Good afternoon Zoros, thank you for the video on block caving, yes I totally believe that this is possible by 2025, as that's what the PFS is about, if it's not, it will be in the PFS. Also as your video shows, this method has cheaper operating costs than open pit, and I see this as another huge advantage for going it alone. Hi addicknt, I don't believe that bids will not come in, I just believe consolidation is required first, if not, then we are never going to get a friendly bid, it's got to be hostile. So price will be higher, but unless the people who would sell, sell for less than fair value, I don't believe any bid would be successful. Roll on 2025, and my best to all.

Good morning ssmith_trader, how would such a bid happen, even if it did, NM would stay, as they would be a long way off a controlling bid. Look at the share register.

Let me get this right, NCM's shares which are worth nearly 2 pounds a share, as NPV, just on Alpala alone, they are going to let them go for a fraction of that price, where as if they just wait, can get much more money. Interesting theory chaps. If Solgold was distressed and had no money to carry on, you may be correct, but that's not how I see the situation. Still not long to wait.
