Hello allthatguff, let's start with a scenario for China to bid. Say they approach Solgold with an offer, and it's turned down. What happens next ? It's only when you thing about what a hostile bid must do to achieve a takeover, you realize the complications.

How would a bid from China happen ?

Why allthatguff, please answer this, the share price is on the floor, forget about Newcrest and BHP, why has no one made an offer for us.

Hello Tos1963, I believe in the production route, only because in my mind, it's the most likely outcome. I trust NM and think he's got this covered, If we get a bid, so be it. But really don't believe we will be a potential takeover until DFS published next year. If one of the big boys buy us, they will want all the i's dotted and the t's crossed. I have been on this site for 7 years, and nearly every week people have talked about imminent bids and takeovers. Nothing has happened. NM has always said he want's maximum value for shareholders. The only way he can get Maximum value, is by taking this to production. Because this is so big, nobody will buy it.

Hello ToS1963, when I say that share price is a distraction, it's because we won't get a fairish value, before we are producing. I have no idea what the PFS announcements of funding and drilling results will do. May even do nothing. But that's not the point. Once we are producing, the share price will be higher. That's about the only statement I can make with a degree of confidence. Big problem we have here is no market for shares. Seen some people call out big buys. To my mind a big buy, is in the millions.

Good morning BNC, I know how he could get the share price up in a few days. He could pick up the phone, and phone BHP, and say, you can have Solgold for 50 pence a share. That would get the share price higher, unfortunately it would defeat the object.

Good afternoon BNC, very chipper this morning, as for the first time in my life, the Revenue has given me some money. retired last July, so all my tax back this morning. Hope you are well. We all have different ideas on where this is heading and what the eventual outcome will be, but to say NM hasn't lived up to what he promised is crazy. I think some people just didn't believe him, and when he has not delivered their preferred outcome, they are blaming NM.

It's biggest reason is Covid19, along with the daily trading share numbers, we require 16-20 million shares traded a day everyday, and more. Look at what NM is doing. Good afternoon Colonel, what you say is correct, but situation changes after DFS, and Cornerstone have to cough up. If they intended to do this, they would be planning something now, and at that time Solgold doesn't get first right to purchase. However that's why I believe Solgold is doing this now.

I give in Zoros, believe what you want. You have no idea what you are on about. You don't read amything, you just post. Last time, watch the presentations, and you will be partly up to speed. Yes it's difficult for Cornerstone, but they can raise the money. Will they? Well some think they won't take the route, some do. But is it as desirable as accepting the Solgold offer. I think the Solgold offer is the best route for Cornerstone share holders. Your question is a non question. The reason being Cornerstone will raise the money, or they won't, and end up in someone else's hands. Either way, your question is redundant.

Excellent post ToS1963, Zoros read it. The point is, if CGP raise the money, then they will not own ENSA, that's the point. ENSA, gets them the funding. it is just another reason I believe Solgold will be successful in acquiring Cornerstone.

Goody morning Woody, I am not sure it's as urgent as some believe, however it's certainly desirable, and as Solgold are linking this to todays price, and the future prosperity of Solgold. I believe this will be taken up.

Let me do this quickly. You say they cannot afford the money. Yes they can, they have 15% of Alpala. Do you not imagine they could raise the money off this, in one form or other.

Zoros, your missing the point, when these terms were agreed, no one knew how big this would be. This was something Cornerstone agreed to, because they had no idea either, this was signed about a decade ago. The scenrio you mention is never going to be played out. I believe even you see this. The Cornerstone issue, will be sorted before DFS next year, one way or another.

What will the revenue per year be to Solgold, once we commence production. I realize that I cannot calculate the operating costs or debt payments and all other costs, but for a moment, would like to concentrate on Revenue. Remember this is at todays prices, and many on here, yourself included, I think. Believe Gold and Copper will be higher.

First Ten Years: Predicted Copper and Gold output.
Copper = 250,000 Tonnes
Gold = 700,000 ounces

Now I realize Solgold doesnt get the price, they get the price that the Smelter offers.
But do your own calculation guys, and tell me what you come up with.
