Colonel, my point is, if anyone brought Cornerstone, that they would get 15% of Alpala through the ENSA stake, they just need to cough up the readies, at DFS stage. It's not about selling the ENSA stake.

Good morning all, still pondering why nobody has bid for cornerstone. I realize that BHP cannot. But everyone else can. The money that needs to be paid at DFS, would not be an inpediment. This would offer a potential bidder, or a new party a way to increase share holding and a presence at Alpala. To my mind if a bid for Solgold was indeed coming, CGP would have been acquired by now. The question is why not.

In agreement Colonel, that is why I think we have an interesting year. So many ways this can play out, but NM and Citi, can defend low ball offers, and unless we get full value or near to it. We become more valuable month by month. To me the current share price doesn't matter, as this will obtain reasonable value, one way or another. All the best.

A bit of history here, please someone correct me if I am wrong. NM had nothing to do with the ENSA agreement. This was done when Andrew Martin was Chairman of Solomon Gold, before becoming Solgold. So ENSA was created, with the idea that if Alpala was successful, then Cornerstone would profit, but Solgold would not be giving away too much. However things changed, and they realized that this was an opportunity not to be missed, and that they could become a mining company. Andrew Martin departed, and Nick Mather came in. The story changed, we were going to become a mining company. We must remember that ENSA was written, when we were going to sell it. I believe that the way it was drafted was luck, and neither side thought we would have the position we have today. Interesting year ahead.

You are correct Gino, but they only have to declare themselves when they are ready to bid. I think who ends up with Cornerstone, may show us the way.

Interesting Tiger, I agree that a concert group could be a threat to a cheap takeover. But what happens, if NM is successful, and we acquire Cornerstone. I suspect Cornerstone shareholders, will be asking questions.

I see Solgold going to 10 pounds, some years after we are producing. My guess is better than yours. What date range, do you see the share price being between 10-16 pence. You say your polarising, but so far, you have blustered and said nothing.

Good evening Colonel, I could be wrong, But I believe when he talked about some equity, he was not referring to Alpala, but too expanding the drilling and a potential buyout for CGP.

I also see your point, and Jerry's and addicknt, this may well be bid for. But it's difficult. On further funding, I believe no further dilution will occur to build Alpala. We can do this by offtake and loans. My preferred route, would be loans. Look at the 3.6 year payback. It's incredible. I had to read that many times, to fully comprehend it. I think the share price will continue to climb, but looking at the state of the price today. I wouldn't bet money on it. But I would bet money on this giving a excellent return, once we are producing. And I have bet money on it, in the form of buying Solgold shares. All the best.

Hello ToS1963, I think your speculation considers some of the facts, but also include BHP in companies that cannot take over Solgold at some stage. If a takeover is too happen, then I believe some consolidation is necessary, Some of the holders, must sell to other holders. If we do acquire Cornerstone, that makes it even harder. Think about if Barrack join the share register, tougher still. I think NM can defend against not only low ball offers, but any offer that doesn't offer full value. That would answer my question, why no one up to now, has bid for Solgold. It's too big, and widely spread.
