HAHAHAH Miagi365, mathematics is not your strong point. I talk about the difference between to totals.
So if Solgold own 50% and BHP 25% and Cornerstone 25%. then the difference between Solgold and BHP is 25%. However if Solgold acquire Cornerstones 25%, the difference between (BHP acquiring it and going to a Solgold 50% and BHP 50% ) is now Solgold own 75% and BHP still own 25%. so for acquiring 25% the difference is 50%, as we are talking about the difference, not the total percentage, so more than 100% cannot be achieved in total or difference.

Good morning Miagi365, I thought CGP held 8%, not 7%. But your figure may be more recent. It's incredibly important, not just for BHP, as the difference is 14% or 16%, depending on which figure is correct above.
For example if BHP own it, then Solgold don't, and vica versa . So it's the difference that's important to aid a bid.

Good morning allthatguff, you are correct, when you say "what a knot". I don't pretend to understand it completely, in fact everyone can see what I post, shows that I don't. But the more I look into this, the more I think, this is really hard to table a bid in its present form. I don't think this is by design, as when the CGP agreement was drafted, we never expected to take this to production. We all know the history, and this changed for good reason. I do believe that a lot has to happen, before a bid becomes possible. This includes people selling their holdings to the main players, Progressing towards the build, raising the finance, and building. Has anyone considered the possibility that a bid does arrive, but it's after we build Alpala and it's producing, as then the bidder knows all the figures. All the best.

Good morning Tiger, one further point I didn't mention. We know that if ENSA is sold, then the tax bill is horrendous, to the extent that Solgold, cannot sell Alpala seperately. What does that mean for another company. They could acquire CGP in whole, and not pay the tax, but they are then tied into the future costs. It maybe advantageous to let Solgold acquire CGP for this reason alone, as then future costs, are Solgolds.

You are quite right smickster, nothing is certain. Let me expand on my reasoning with Cornerstone. The arguments for accepting are well known, and have been discussed extensively. However let's say we are turned down. The first argument, that they could sell to someone else, at a higher price, has been raised. But what would they be selling. We know they hold a considerable amount of Solgold shares, but a lot of the interest in Cornerstone, is the 15% of ENSA. And that is not valuable to anyone else, until Alpala is in production. It's not easy to sell, maybe almost impossible. So the value to Solgold is higher, and would suit Solgold, if it's aim was to go to production, which is NM's stated route. Secondly, we are told that Cornerstone, may be in talks, to sell to someone else. Well that cannot be BHP, because at this stage, it would be illegal, and BHP, would never behave in this way. We also get first dibs on Alpala, but what does that mean exactly. I am coming round to the idea, that ColonelDrake, is correct on this, and if we play the waiting game, then we pick up Alpala for a reduced price. So that then begs the question, why bid for CGP at this stage. It's expensive for us. I can only come to one solution. We are going to production, but in order to be masters of our own destiny, we need to own Cornerstones Solgold holding, and own Alpala outright. This to me, suggests, that any future financing, would be acquired on more favourable terms, and smooth the way to a build at Alpala. Lots more to discuss, as what happens if any of our other tenements, enter the build race, then more streaming and debt required. But all in a good way, and the further we go down this route, the more control NM has. One last thought. This is my thinking, so fully accept, I may be off the mark. Andrew Martin, started this off, and the plan, was to prove up a resource and sell it. When we realised what we had, Andrew Martin, wasn't the man to carry out the studies, so NM was brought in. In order to start us on the journey to production. Maybe after the DFS, and the build starts, NM will be replaced and a person with the ability to deliver a build, will be in situ, or more likely, someone, will be brought in over NM, and he stays in place, as a figurehead for the company. Good morning addicknt, not sure of correct term. I use the term consolidation, where fewer companies, own bigger share holdings, but I know you understand. I think that if we acquire Cornerstone, which I now believe is likely, that this shifts the dynamic, and hands NM, a defence strategy. I agree with what you say on Citi, as I believe you are correct, he cannot stave off a bid, but can hopefully avoid a low bid. Unfortually, I am of the opinion, that if we get a bid, it will be the only one, and that makes us all vulnerable to be taken out at a fraction of our net value, and more importantly for me, our potential value. I know the clock is ticking. There are things we can do, and I would start by saying, that he needs to get as far down the funding route, with further offtake, and loan facilities to build Alpala, and maybe the PFS is enough to get these, although I realize, that this would normally occur at the DFS stage. I do think, that the next year is make or break, as to the future of Solgold, as an indepdent company. I am hopeful, that we can fast track drill results on other tenements, but also understand, that we need more time to do so, and that our best defence is a rising share price. Other defence strategies could be employed. We could give current shareholders the right to extra shares at a certain price in 2025, but they only get them, if they remain invested. Hence protecting against a takeover. Don't think we need to go that far, but next 3-6 months are going to be interesting. All the best.

Thank you Smickster, very interesting, adding up the percentages, brings it to 86.74 % held. That means the total PI's hold 13.26% or roughly 275 million shares. This is getting tight, and goes somewhere to explaining why the share price is so low, as very little fluidity, and explains low volumes. Makes it almost impossible for a takeover bid, without consolidation first happening. If we do obtain Cornerstone, then I believe NM is in control of Solgold's destiny. All the best.

Good evening Subby, be careful, by all means buy Solgold, I own a fair few, but don't expect a bid. It's by no means going to happen. The company has stated many times that it's not for sale, unless it achieves fair value. No one is going to give what it is worth. So the company will drive this to production, which is 5 years away. Good morning MasterPlan, as far as I am aware, its always been Q2 for DFS.

Mine construction completed 2025, waiting for PFS 3rd quarter this year, DFS 2nd quarter next year. Then we start construction. Total cost of construction of mine at Alpala is 2.7 billion dollars. We have a billion lined up, nothing signed. But Solgold seem confident they can raise the money.

Is it the one, with the raising of the funds for Alpala, as I remember NM saying no dilution for that. However he has repeatedly said limited dilution for drilling and Cornerstone buyout. We may get more dilution if drilling program runs out. However things would have moved on by then, and we may be able to fund in other ways. All the best.

NM never said no dilution, and he has not said that further dilution will not occur, in fact he has said the opposite, but guess what, that information is in more than one of the presentations.
