NM has stepped down, in order a CEO who has experience of bringing a block cave operation to fruition comes onboard.
I admit it surprised me, but it just demonstrates that maybe we are further down the line than we think.

Next fact: The company has not changed direction, in fact it was re-enforced with the last RNS.

Next fact: We are still working towards a CFP, no one is talking about taking on partners of any description.

I think we wait for the PFS and further announcements.

Monte, the AGM was a success, nothing to do with NM.
You say that the company is held by shareholders, and they should carry out the wishes of the shareholders.
That is not how companies work.
The executive are appointed by shareholders, and they are trusted with running a company.
Companies are not run by continuous proxy.
The shareholders have just given the approval to carry on to production. Nothing has changed.
BHP did not win this vote.
That is why it was a success.

Agreed Bozi and Novice, more people should listen to the company, and not their inner voice that says it's someone else's fault, that I haven't become rich overnight.

Monte, try understanding what the company is saying, not what you want them to say.

One last point Zoros the company is not directionless.
Have you not been reading the RNS's and watched the webinars.
They have been consistent.
We are going to production, we are going to issue a PFS and DFS and CFP, we are going to buy in the expertise and build Alpala.
Not only are we going to do this, we are going to prove up other tenements and bring them to production also in parallel.

If you don't believe what I am saying, watch last years webinars and read the RNS's.
These are not my musings, but Nick Mathers, Jason Wards, Steve Garwins and Ingo's.

Zoros, I don't think you understand what drives volume, if every CEO could drive volume, you could invest in almost anything.
I don't have a position to defend, realize some people misinterpret me. I just remind people what the company is saying and steer clear of conspiracy theories, it really is that simple.

Monte if you have been investing some time, then look at the volume, we are not even trading 10 million shares a day, even that would be low. Why are you surprised at the level of the share price.

Zoros, I have been doing this 40 years, broker notes always overegg, so yes of course they are all wrong.
Think what will move the share price. It will be a PFS and CFP, of course even then it will go up and down.
Not so long ago we couldn't get the price above 10 pence, and when we did it fell back.
This is just the natural evolution of this company.
We have NM to thank for this.
Some on here blaming NM and they have no reason to.

Colonel isn't it more likely that Solgold are doing what they said they are doing.
Proving up resources, working towards the PFS and sorting out the CFP.
I would add a bit of speculation, that if the mine design is done, then we are talking to people who are going to implement the build.

Monte the ultimate aim of a CEO is to make the company more profitable for shareholders, that excludes selling it cheap.
I think confirmation bias is creeping in here.
You think the CEO's responsibility is to deliver short term gain, as opposed to long term gain.

Monte you are making a mistake in believing that the CEO is the definitive factor in share price. The market decides that.
Are you suggesting that the BOD lie to get the share price higher.
It is what it is, we have Covid, that is a big part of it, this has given us delays.
Maybe without NM the price would have been a lot lower, have you considered that.
Two things happening here, which I am sure you are aware of.
First we need volume. Without volume it really won't move the share price to a meaningful value.
Second we need to play catch up. We haven't started yet as Covid is still with us.

Monte may I ask have you been investing long.
Of course they are all wrong.
Never believe broker notes they are always wrong.
Show me any company that has ever had broker notes be correct.
What do you think broker notes are for.
Nick wanted the share price as high as possible, not because he wanted to sell the company, but because raising cash would be done at a higher price.

Monte may I say you are a little impatient.
Exit points will be provided over the next 5 years.
We haven't even got the PFS.
Just some patience required.
Once you stop believing that we are going to get a bid all the time, then this share makes sense.
The company has got a resource with a future, what would you do. You would develop it, that is the sensible thing to do.
The only question is can you raise the money and develop it alone. ( best option, as we get full value ) ( I believe we can )
Or do we have to give up some of our discovery and let others profit at our expense, so that we get something. ( we cannot raise the money ourselves and need a partner ) ( I don't believe we require this Scenario )
It's just a question of what we all personally believe, and forms part of the reason of why we individually make our investment decisions.

Sorry daveri007 are you on the right chatroom, you just wrote that Solgold cannot attract institutional investors, since Newcrest removed their executive.
It's quite the opposite, we could attract many institutional investors, we just don't want to dilute too much, and certainly not to BHP or NCM.

Zoros over time I have watched a series of videos on past elections in Ecuador, there has been changes to the electoral system, however the article says if you don't reach 50% you must be 40% ahead of your nearest rival, that is nonsense, I am not convinced by the rest of the article either.

Hello E.T yes agreed on the PFS timeframe, however I would like Solg to surprise us, and we get a PFS in the next few days.
The political system was one of the things I looked into before investing.
It is a little strange compared to western democracies, but Ecuador is a functioning democracy, as far as I can see, so they do have a right of reply at the ballot box.
