Good afternoon Redknight, sorry but the payback period will not increase, quite the opposite.
Remember the payback period for under 4 years was calculated at the PEA. This used 1300 dollars an ounce for gold. The PFS will calculate at 1700 dollars an ounce, which reduces the payback period, even with the added cost of the redesign, and not taking into account the increased resource.

Bubble contractual obligations are not with an individual, they are with the company.

Morning Redknight, I think the CFP is going to be a surprise.
Because of the short payback period I believe we can largely debt fund this.
I am hoping the PFS will improve the payback period to the PEA of under 4 years.
Also Franco Nevada I think will be involved, and if the PFS is over 6 billion dollars for the NPV, then we may get a better deal than 100 million dollars for 1%.
So some dilution, but as Solgold have always said, the dilution will be minimal.

I agree mistermeister, however the share price is the result of volume.
We need good news to make people sit up and take notice.
I had a feeling that the RNS with all the drilling results wouldn't help us, as the expectation for Solgold is high, so mediocre doesn't cut it.
However early days.
I think that the PFS should help, and that a fully funded solution for Alpala ( CFP ) again will help.
What will really help is when we are mining, and with the predictions for Gold, Copper and Silver are realized.

We will get exit points along the way.
Personally I think those that will sell out at 50 pence, will probably get it this year.

Good morning all, I am not buying more nor selling out. I have always maintained that the most likely outcome is we go to production. That doesn't mean we don't get brought out at some point. Probably after Alpala is built. However this is getting there.
I don't get the doom and gloom this morning, as nothing has changed. If you believe the Bod, and the fundamentals, then I guess you understand the situation, if not, then screaming someone is going to buy us, holds no weight. This share has always been a long term hold. I could add in my opinion, but as I always have said, everything is opinion. The danger sign to watch out for is if BHP or NCM get to increase their holding, and act in concert. Let's hope the BOD get the PFS and CFP out by end of second quarter.

Zoros if Lasso wins it will still be OK, he will just keep the IMF deal, and deal with the Chinese state.
If Arauz wins, he will privatize the Oil and gas sector that the state owns, pay back China, and raise taxes to pay back the IMF loan quicker, if not immediately.
Both are pro mining.

The article is showing the transfer of votes if Lasso doesn't get 40% in the first round, which he won't.
Under this scenario the votes will transfer almost fully to Arauz.
Arauz will win it. ( My opinion )
I have been following this for the past 18 months.

Thank you Redknight, I hear what you say, and from my point it's accurate as I understand it.
However I think that the CFP will be announced after the PFS and not at the same time.
My reasoning is that there is just not enough time, as when they announce the CFP, I don't believe they will announce the detail, just that we have agreement and that various parts are being signed.
We will then get a later announcement. ( who knows when )
And this put together with the PFS, will then kick start the route to production.
The reason I say this, is that in order to get the figures for the building of Alpala in the PFS . This can only be obtained by talking to the people we are going to employ to build it.
As we need to obtain real data, for costs timelines and contingency planning.

On the CFP, I believe we will get a pre announcement before it's confirmed.
A bit like the Franco Nevada deal, where many of the armchair CEO's on here kept saying it will never happen, as we will get a bid before. ( let's remember they were saying this even after the BOD announced it, but hadn't signed it, due to Covid restrictions )
We need the PFS, and am uncertain if we require the DFS before CFP.
But the CFP is coming, it is still in the latest RNS this morning.
Remember, the we are going to be sold mob, are ignoring the fact, that the CFP is being prepared.
They also say we cannot raise the money, so they mean we don't get a CFP to take Alpala to production.
The company line is we are building Alpala and raising the funds to do this. We have been and will continue to change the BOD to enable to do this.
Latest change is to appoint a CEO with experience of block cave mining in South America.

On Solgold this morning, the price is no indication of the news. But I feel it's an indication of the volume. No one is interested in us at the moment. We cannot even get 0.5% of market capital traded within a day. So volume under 10 million shares a day is derisory.

This share is not a one way bet. With NM gone, we need a CFP to take this to production more than ever. ( I believe we will get it)
But let's look at the alternative.
Because NM is gone from a leadership role, the BOD is weakened. So BHP and others can sit and do nothing. ( just another of many reasons, we won't get a bid)
The reason for this is we need money for further exploration, and this needs to happen through dilution. Since 13 and 14 were never tabled at the AGM, we need BHP and NCM to agree to that process on those terms.
Make no mistake, if we don't get a CFP, this won't be done on Solgolds terms.
Wait I here you say. What about the Chinese. Well unless we get a take out bid ( which we won't, because they want it cheaper as well)
Then we will eventually get a concert group, and we will get taken out cheap.
Those who have been doing this for long enough, have seen this happen before. Any JV, will involve an equity element, and just speed up the process.

I certainly don't support those ideas.
In fact although Friedrich Nietzsche had some important things to say on human nature, he nowadays is completely disregarded on his idea of free speech.

I also support Voltaires views now read some more of Voltaire as he didn't say that, it was written by Evelyn Beatrice Hall who made up the quote in her Voltaire biography.
