addicknt I unfiltered you this morning after the RNS, as I was curious what you would say about this, so less of the insults, why don't you repeat how this news means you are right and a buyout is coming shortly, and that this RNS is rubbish and just a bluff like all the others, and use your usual phrase, that people who opposed your views didn't know what they were talking about, and that of course Solgold would say that.
As I say no insults just give us your take on this, with all your considerable knowledge of running a company.
I know why I am invested, but why not give your take on this RNS, to all your followers.

Allthatguff I have reiterated the RNS's and what has been in the webinars. This is another RNS and yes I believe it.
It puts more meat on the bone, as to why we are doing the redesign.
Admit I am surprised, but this will not change my investment.

SharketMare, I do not take everything at face value, I just disagree with all the conspiracy theories. Are you saying this RNS is false. No one else seems to think so this morning. We all have our investment strategies. So don't be annoyed, just adjust. Too many people sounding like amateurs, when they don't get the news they want, when they want it. This is interesting. I think a good time for Solgold to have a webinar.

ssmith_trader what I am guessing ( and it's only a guess) is that they need a way to reduce the build costs to bring us to production earlier. The PFS will still contain the block cave operation we are just going for an earlier start up model and earn income earlier. Thus reducing the money we need to borrow. We need more information. I understand why many are upset this morning, as going to production is not what they want. So it's not me that's lost it. However I am surprised but not panicking. Nor am I selling, as in this for the long term.

Bubble let's see what the timelines and costs are. The RNS clearly says we are going to production. No lines to read between. I admit I am surprised at the huge change, but I think we need further information.

Do we have enough money left over from the 100 million dollars that Franco Nevada gave us? If not why didn't we take the extra 50 million.

We are talking about drilling the rest of Cascabel and an early open pit. Does that mean we get to production quicker, but on a smaller scale to start with, so we have an income stream?
I really have no idea what the market will make of this, when we open today.

We need to understand the direction Solgold is going to take.
However we have a clue.

Solgold has told us that they are going to employ a CEO that has block caving experience in South America that can build a block cave operation and take it to production.

We have Ingo preparing the CFP in order to raise the cash to build it.

Reading the above statements, does anyone understand Solgold's strategy.

Monte why not just take on board what the company are saying.

Sorry newtoit, I didn't realize that was the qualification to become a director, if I had known, maybe I have taken that career path. However in training now, as sitting in a comfy chair.

Just a reminder, PFS was due on 30th Sept 2020.
We then got a webinar by Jason Ward the next day, where he said 2- 3 weeks, which made it the 22nd at the latest.
This I think in hindsight is interesting, Solgold must have known that the PFS was going to be later, as we are now in Feb 2021, and still no PFS.
So what happened? Well the company has told us.
We are redesigning aspects and bringing some of the underground construction above ground.
Why the big delay.
I think they underestimated the task, and this isn't just about Alpala, but other mines in the area.
The latest RNS on drill results, I think supports this, as with shared resources, you lower the cost of other mine constructions.
But Alpala is the jewel in the crown and can be designed within budget, to help other projects.

If I am right, then Solgold are thinking long term, not short term.
I would like to add that the shock and awe statement , if true, is about the PFS not other mines, and will be contained in the PFS, and then the CFP.
