ssmithtrader don't worry my Solgold holding is a small part of my portfolio, everything else is blue chip.
Sorry just look at the broker notes over the past year, some for Solgold have been over a pound for some time, they are not good, and if you buy and sell on the back of broker notes, that's your concern.

Montecristo I don't know how long you have been investing, but this is why you ignore broker notes and read RNS's.

Montecristo do you understand the capex, if it was a 100% increase then it would still be a bargain, go back and read the PEA. Under 4 years on current PEA, even with the increased cost, the payback will be shorter. Just a simple mathematics equation.
10% is a guess, work out for yourself how that figure was arrived at, without the completed PFS.

It says that we are aiming for a lower capex which can be achieved with a mine redesign, it does not say it was too expensive.
It suggests that all the bad news is out the way, it says nothing about the PFS which at the moment looks like coming in with more gold and copper, with gold at 1700 as opposed to 1300. Yet another useless broker note, but experienced investors pay no attention to broker notes, unless they provide information that is not known.

I have read it, it doesn't say that it was going to be too expensive, I might have missed it, so please paste and copy.

Montecristo I haven't read anywhere that the block cave operation was too expensive, please remember this is still a block cave construction . Please can you post the article or broker note that says we changed the design as it was too expensive.

Punit nobody knows, the BOD say they are bringing it to production cheaper and quicker, but that depends on financing.
We need the CFP.

Can I raise a point. If someone made a statement " if this was to be sold ".
Everyone on here would be saying Hooray we are going to be sold. ( it wouldn't mean that )
The if statement is no more than a cautious statement.
It would be like BP saying we plan to deliver so much Oil, if nothing changes.
It's meaningless, and just means if circumstances outside of Solgolds control happen, then we may have to have a rethink.
Every company in the world uses statements like this, at some time.

ssmith_trader, I do not take every word as gospel, that is misinformation spread by addicknt and Earthling.
I have been doing this 40 years, and by anyone's measure, I am successful at investing.
Look at all the people on here that said once the BHP standstill had finished that we would be sold, these same people are saying this again with no evidence.
I have read the RNS, and I can see how you would interpret a JV or farm out.
But for once stop and think.
Why has it not happened so far.
Once you understand that, you will have a better picture of Solgold as a whole.

Correct Jerry I have said the statements are facts, I have said nothing else.
That's why I always say that the most likely outcome is production.

I agree ToS1963, you are correct, it's a pity it has been delayed, but things are what they are.

Sorry Shipright have you read the latest RNS's

it states we are going to production.
It states we are going to start with open pit, and cut into a block cave project, so this is still block cave.
It states that we can get to production cheaper and quicker.

This is not my interpretation, it is what the company has stated.
The fact that the company has stated this is fact.

Shipright we don't know that.
All we know is that something has happened when drilling, that gives us an opportunity to change the design and go to production cheaper and faster.
That is all we know.
Some of the posts on here, still claiming a buyout, are quite simply for the birds.
But some on here are so desperate, that they will still insist we are going to be brought out, whereas if anything, this has become cheaper and faster to build.

cadell may I ask you for some detail as to why we can't go this alone, if we have a PFS and CFP.

Zoros 7.9% is mass unemployment, for years we had it under 5%, also count the people that will be left without a job once furlough is over, as the government is paying their wages, and since things won't pick up immediately, then more to follow.
Also the over 55's have been accessing their pensions early, when they cannot afford too ( these people not in the figures ), and so if these people get a job after, then they cannot put more than 4,000 pounds a year into their pensions.
So things are not as you say.

Zoros I see no reason why we can't do this alone, if we can get a PFS and CFP, the only reason we may farm out is if we cannot.
Please don't try the argument that we got the PFS wrong, and that's why we are redoing it, as all the evidence shows that is not the case.
We are redoing it, because the drilling has changed things and I am guessing their is significant upside to doing it the way, that the new RNS suggests.
