The company statement is Nick has stepped down as CEO, he is engaging with the exploration side of the company, and we are hiring a CEO to build a block cave operation at Alpala.

By truncating that statement, it allows you to twist the facts, which is what you constantly do.

Redknight, it doesn't matter what I think, if he had lost the vote he would be gone.
I consider it a silly question as it didn't happen.
It is along the lines of If Solgold hasn't found any Copper at Alpala and they are lying, would you still be saying there would be a bid.
Both questions are silly, as that is not the situation.
This is something I am constantly on about, let's listen to the facts.
So many people on here repeat a position, and some repeat them as fact, when their is no evidence for their statements.
The biggest one being a bid is imminent, that is ridiculous.

I think if that comment to MisterMeister is true, then it is shocking for any company HR to say that, as it goes against the official statement of the company.
My point is if it is true, and they did say that, in opposition to the official company statement, then they should be sacked.

Woody do you maybe think, that NM was re-elected and has stood down, because we are replacing him with a CEO that has the experience to take Alpala to production as a block cave operation, and they did not want to lose his experience on the exploration side.

Quite possible BBG, depending on what we find, as we do seem to have increased drilling significantly.

Are you really saying that you were unaware that Solgolds intention was to take this to production, which was in 2015 until Feb 2020.

One last point, people on here keep saying production has been pushed back to 2026, 2027 and have seen mentioned 2028.
However Solgold have said nothing on this.
We need to wait for the PFS and see the timeline.
As the plan is to build faster and cheaper.
So maybe this will still be done by 2025.

Redknight, I do OK for friends, as still have the friends I went to school with and others acquired on that journey that is called life.
We largely live in different parts of the world but some local, and take part in something that involves travelling to different venues around the world, which I won't talk about on here, as that might identify me. ( Also I suspect many would find boring ) So when travel is back on the agenda, will be re-engaging, as some of my friends also will.

I joined as was thinking about my investment in Fortune Oil, and wanted other people's opinions, as I had suspicions on the way the company was going. It was my time on the Forum, that someone said Solgold was a share to look at.
Many people in Oil and Gas, are also in mining, I was not one of them, so Solgold is my first mining share.

Yes been investing since I was 19, now I am 59. I will be 60 this year.
I don't usually go for investments like Solgold, as I have slowly built a blue chip portfolio over that time.
Spent a long time in Oil and Gas, and can talk about that with more authority, than I can this share.

You say that we both know Solgold won't go to production alone, I don't buy that.
I have never said we will go to production alone, or we won't get sold.
It is the likes of Earthling and Addicknt that pretend I say that.
I have always said that production is the most likely outcome.
I say this, as the BOD have been consistent in this assertion, have been maintained since 2015.
I have traded in the past, but not for some time, as I prefer the investment side, as I find it easier, and I sleep better at night.
I used to have level 2, but no longer use it, as I no longer trade.
I consider an investment like Solgold as a ten year project, and was not fooled by individuals on this forum, when I brought in 2013, who said we would be brought. So many indicators said not a chance, but have gone over that so many times.
Looks like I was wrong about ten years, as Alpala won't be built by 2023, but I constantly reassess. So can wait a few more years.

This is the only share I use a forum for, as my other investments I understand, and don't need to ask questions.

I don't see myself being on this forum for much longer, maybe a year or two, but will reduce my activity once we are out of lockdown, and a sensible period has elapsed, as have some plans, before I am food for worms.

You state we fell to 1.5 pence in 2008, because of what?
I am on about when we have moved to Ecuador and drilling Alpala, we also fell to 1.5 pence, so why not look into that aspect, and give me your take on that.

Redknight the 2070 comment was a joke, seriously it could only be interrupted otherwise, by someone with a humour bypass, or the likes of addicknt, who I am afraid lacks emotional intelligence, and so tries to score meaningless points.

Redknight, you seem to have top loaded your argument, and missed out some important facts. NM has brought this company from 3 pence to were it is now. Some would argue don't I mean around a penny a share, when we only had 600 million shares in issue, so on any measure that is astounding.
You say you don't want to wait another 7 years, but again read all the company statements, this is going to take time. Did you make your investment by listening to the company or the likes of addicknt.
When I say it's not a get rich scheme, you misrepresented me, by pretending I thought it was a charity, or a benevolent fund for the elderly. Well it isn't either of those things.
What it is, is a company in the making, and that unfortunately is going to take time. Sorry, but listen more to the company, and less to people on this chatroom.

That's OK Smickster if it's 2070, I am still holding. However I do believe that by early 2022, that we will have a clearer outlook, and I say this with some trepidation, a roadmap with time lines that won't slip too much.

Almostdone, those that believe we are going to production, understand that we get our payday, when we are producing, or th many exit points along the way. This has never been a get rich scheme.
