Had a go at trading some years ago, I set aside 10,000 pounds.
I decided it was not for me, as I could see why it was addictive, and I could make a gamble and get wiped out.
In the early days of Solgold, we could have run out of money and folded, but if you read this chatroom at the time, you were seen as a deramper for even asking the question.

Hello Redknight, just to clear up a point, I have never been in INFA, I think that was a recommendation by Bubble, I had some interesting discussions, and looked at it, but never invested.

Redknight, I don't judge people, whatever works for you, works for you.
I am 100% in an ISA, having come from a PEP.
I am more about not losing money, than gaining money.
In that aspect, I am risk adverse, hence why I used dividends for speculation.

Good to hear Redknight, no grandchildren yet. But that sounds like another good thing in your life.

It is not about money E.T.
It's an investment, some people talk on here like they have chucked everything into Solgold, that is gambling not investment.
For the first 20-25 years, I never held a speculative share, I built a portfolio.

I often wonder, why so many people are angry on here, if they are successful investors. Wherever you have a job or are retired, you wouldn't depend on Solgold to fund your life, as no dividends.
I guess the traders would see it differently, but tried that and not for me.

Not for me Redknight, I have everything I want.
I am not someone that wants a better car or Yacht.
I live in a 3 bedroom house, and know all my neighbours , who are great, everyone looks after each other, and before Covid we all socialised.
So don't want to move.
Couple of health issues, more annoying then serious, but as we get older, stuff happens.

I got out of Oil and gas around 2015 and moved into financials and Tech over the period of just over a year.
Didn't quite get the timing right, but still made money and more important avoided the downturn.
I was already invested in Solgold by then.

I take an interest in the world, and always looking on the changes within Societies.
This is my first mining share, and I came here as another investor in Fortune oil reckoned this was worth a look.
I was on the Solgold chatroom for nearly a year, before I brought my shares in Solgold.
I asked lots of questions, and was called a deramper, as a lot of what I asked was to understand the downside as much as the upside. Today I am reasonably comfortable with my knowledge on mining shares, but still get some things wrong.

E.T you have worked it out wrong. it's more than that if referring to my total portfolio.

Redknight you are meant to be a successful investor, you drive a nice car.
I have some expensive hobbies, but I don't burn money for the sake of it.
many people have a portfolio of over 2 million pounds.

I am an investor, this share doesn't pay a dividend.
I had a bad year in dividends last year, as about 2/3 of my shares never paid dividends.
When I say bad year, that is still a good year for most people on here.
I am not short of a penny, but I invest for income.
If and when I sell Solgold, it won't be because I need the money, it will be because, I have done the sums and got near to full value.

I have no need to post on any other share, I am happy with my knowledge on them.
I used to post a lot on Fortune oil, as that was when I discovered LSE chat, and that was my speculative share at the time. Made money, but not a success story.

Nicely worked out Redknight, but wrong, I originally brought 1.8 million shares over a few weeks, I currently hold just around the 1.2 million mark.
So you can do the maths.

Redknight 2022 isn't that far away, and as you know, the PFS is being done in such a way, that it will be incorporated into the DFS, making the DFS faster to produce.
We are in 2021 now.

Don't worry about me Redknight, I am in Blue Chips, my only speculative share is Solgold.
I never hold more than two speculative shares, and never more than 5% of my portfolio when I buy in, and all financed by dividends.
Was in Oil and gas for years, and in Financials and Tech today.
Solgold now represents more than 5% of my portfolio, only because of the increase in share price from when I brought in.
No wasn't in SXX, and I missed GGP, but I only invest in shares I understand, and didn't understand GGP at the time.
Maybe I should have read more on it at the time.

You have a point, and this may have meant that NM stepping aside was speeded up.
But we can see NM was not out of favour ( or he wouldn't be staying on )

And that the plan was at some time to bring in a CEO with the knowledge to build Alpala.
Remember all the armchair CEO's on here stating Solgold could never build Alpala, as he had no experience.
Well we are about to get that expertise.

This was always going to happen at sometime.

Another thought is maybe we are closer to funding this and that's why this transition had to take place now, and that's why the leak was relevant now.
