DartFrog is absolutely correct, they will assign their own people on the board, more shares will be issued and they will form a concert party, trading in this stock will fall off ( we are not exactly setting the sky on fire, on current volumes ), and so the price will fall. Maybe 30 pence a share is ambitious.
As they will own 50% between them, the book will no longer be diverse.
As experienced investors on here know how this happens.
For those who don't know, here is a bit of meat on the bone.
I refer you to the story of Fortune oil, we had an NPV of 8 pounds a share, and we had revenue, and a 25% stake in China gas holdings.
So lots of money, and revenue
The book became less diverse, and two families obtained 75% of the shares.
The share price never got anywhere near the market cap.
In the end the lack of a diverse book, allowed them to act in concert, and there is a rule that you only have to offer the highest price in the previous 12 months, and they did a compulsory purchase at 10 pence a share.

Hello newtoit, I would hope some common sense would apply, and any Covid related issues that arise, then the government would allow us time.
So I reckon if we get to 2026 and we still have another year to go, because of delays, then no issue with the government.

I believe we need to build Alpala by 2028 otherwise we stand a chance of losing the license, however we don't have build dates on other tenements to my knowledge.

It doesn't mean they are looking elsewhere, it might be that they don't require any more money to get to DFS, as we must remember that the FNV money is for that, and that alone.
Also we have the caveat that any money left over from the 100 million, goes to the production costs of Alpala, and cannot be used for drilling.

Good afternoon newtoit, Yes I believe they are unhappy with NM, as he won't give them Solgold on the cheap.
I have looked at CCZ, it's too early.
No cores have been drilled only RC drilling, which says yes we have something here, but we don't know at what depth and how much.
This is about the tenth of the price of diamond core drilling.
They have no money and means lots of dilution in the early years.
It's on my watchlist, but too early for me.

Hi Montecristo, I also have been here since 2012, although invested in 2013, and did so by memory because of hole 5.
It then went down to around 1.5 pence from memory, and I thought Oh dear, another share I am going to have to wait to recover, or there goes my money.
I don't count you among the let's sell them cheap brigade.
We will all get exit points along the way, and let's hope we get the news we expect in 2021.
As you have been here as long as me, I am sure you remember the 8-10 pence days, when everyone was saying I wouldn't want to be out of this over the weekend, as we will get a bid.
The 3-5 pence days, which was when I brought in.
The drop to under 1.5 pence
The jump from 3p to 6p when Newcrest invested.
The steady rise.
The buy ins by BHP, which I think the last one was 46 pence.

My point is that we have grown many hundreds of percent, since investing, and along the way have drawn a new baseline at various intervals.
It is unthinkable to be that we would fall back to 4.6 pence, which is my average.
So as the years go by, I expect we will achieve new baselines at a higher rate.

Last reply to your desperate post Redknight, then going to take Bozi's advice and not engage with you anymore.

NM would sell I think if we got a knockout bid.
You and I don't know what that is, but I can assure you it's not one or two pounds. As when we get the PFS, two pounds won't even be the value based on NPV of Alpala alone, so what you want ( which is what you state ) is not in the best interest of shareholders.
I have not read the twitter account, why because it's twitter and carries no weight.
However I imagine if he did say that, that the reasons are obvious, as the higher the share price, the easier it is for the next fund raise.
I don't believe you ask the question, why do you believe why does he keep saying why is Solgold so undervalued.
Anyone on this forum can answer that, but for you, the reason is the NPV for Alpala alone doesn't equate to the Market Cap of the company, It's a simple statement of fact.
As for your last point, NM is allowed to buy shares, the same as we are.
I think that's a good thing. I don't get your point, but that's probably because it's aligned with some conspiracy theory.

2Luke you raise an interesting point, I think you are correct as not increasing size of resource at Alpala, but I believe drilling is still going on for two reasons.
First to find an area that doesn't have recoverable resource to build infrastructure, and second to support the model of how to build the mine.

I understand the frustration Montecristo, but things are usually more simple than the conspiracy theories you read on this forum.
I can assure you I don't work for Solgold.
I try to report what is being said by the company, as if I didn't believe in the bulk of the information they give out, I wouldn't be invested.
NM has never to my knowledge said we are going to sell this cheap, to please some investors on LSE chat.
CEO's of companies don't spend every day thinking how can we get the share price up, they are concerned with the direction and profitability of the company, and in the case of Solgold, nothing can be more important than to bring Alpala to production.
It's refreshing to see a company take a long term view.
