Hi Bubble it doesn't work that way, you get restriction on buys now and again, I have not tried selling any, but did a dummy buy and had no problem.
For those of you who can only buy small amounts, just wait and hour or two and try again and you will have no problem, as this is how it works.
Just expect an uncrossing trade at the end of the day. Reflection of the difference in buys and sells.

I also tried to do a dummy buy with 12,500 pounds as all the spare cash in my ISA, I had no problem at all.

What you don't say is that on cash settlements you can get as much stock as you wish, so what's the real problem .
Well people don't generally pay on T20 terms, they are cash purchased.
So what we are talking about is traders are having problems.
I can see your argument on that, but have you considered that the holders are holding and the traders are also holding waiting for the PFS and other news.
This explains everything we are seeing, but most of all explains the low volume.

Just some people using trading platforms. If we even had investors of my type being introduced daily to Solgold and purchase shares, the price would rise steadily. This is just volume.
