Yes Mog, this is one of the reasons, I don't pay attention to CGP announcements. They are short on detail, and only issued when the CGP share price is falling.

Unbelievable post by Redknight, after all the insults I have received from this individual because of my lack of company finance knowledge.
He has insulted me saying, that Solgold cannot bring Alpala to production on it's own because no one would lend us the money, and we needed to be sold or JV. Also I didn't know what I was talking about. ( Even though I have 40 years successful investing experience )

For those of you who are unaware of my thoughts since 2015, which is when we announced that we were going to have the ambition to be a producer, here is a reminder.

We are most likely to Bring Alpala to production as Solgold.
This will be debt financed, through Bonds, loans and minimal if any dilution.
We will do this on low interest rates, because we will have the choice of who to take money from.
Lowest interest rates and best terms wins.

His 11.05 post is my take on this, and how has he come to this conclusion.
Well he finally did what I have been doing since I purchased Solgold shares in 2013.
He started listening to what the company said and stopped talking complete rubbish.

I don't disagree DBW, as PFS was delayed, but none of us guessed why until they eventually told us.
On the CEO aspect, I feel their is a reason, however we won't know what it is before it happens.
I know that when a change of CEO happens in an engineering company, that the CEO has been picked but before he is announced, he has to get up to speed with Projects and developments before the announcement, so that they can engage with the markets and employees from day one. Could be as simple as that, in that we have a CEO, just not ready for day one.
However as I said I am not too bothered.

Hi DBW, as I always said, I don't think we are too far apart on our thinking, I have put our differences behind me.
I am not too concerned on the lack of CEO, as we seem to have a decent stand in, and as you, I and others have reflected on, we still have NM driving Alpala forward.

With the latest developments, I just see the construction of Alpala even more likely then just a few weeks ago.
But we await the PFS and I believe that will clear up some of the confusion.

Sorry realise I didn't answer the Switzerland part.
When I said tax reasons, I meant tax efficient. After all if you want to borrow billions it's nice to be on the doorstep of those who have the money to lend.
It also may have a lot to do with Swiss regulation.
Maybe finance will be easier and cheaper under the Swiss financial regulatory system.

Afternoon LunchMoney you could be right, I avoided the ten year back to back loan agreement, because I am unsure what that entails.
Yes it's isolating Cascabel and this means to me that other tenements can now be packaged up in a similar way to JV or be sold. Or the rest of Solgold could be sold, and AG could be separated in the sale. ( unlikely)
Let's see what the future is for the ten properties (20 tenements) that they are selling or JV.
As I feel the reason is two fold for AG existing.

1) We can monetise Cascabel and fund Alpala cheaper, with no risk to the people lending us the money, dragged down by drilling programs.
2) We have the ability to sell or JV other Tenements in a similar way.

Zoros what it means in plain English is the Cascabel concession is held by AG and is based in Switzerland, and it also owns Franco Nevada 1% NSR, and the debt accumulated so far for Alpala. They are going to use this vehicle to debt fund and build Alpala, with minimum dilution, if any and as a entirely owned subsidiary of Solgold. Do this in a tax efficient way with low interest rates. Profits still go back to Solgold, and Ecuador still gets its revenues. But we borrow cheaper and build faster. You know, those things the company has been saying for years, that you never listen to.

On 30th Sept 2010 price for Solgold was 46.59 pence so was 40 pence around that time.

Redknight has now about faced he believes AG will be the vehicle for funding Alpala.
A long way from insulting me constantly saying I didn't know what I was talking about and that Alpala could never be financed by Solgold.
All he is saying is what I have been saying for years.

Samuel is Nick Mathers holding, I got confused by this some time ago.
However CGP have gone from 7.6% to 8.9%.

Addicknt I understand that, but the question that now we have Cascabels debt ringfenced, that this will be the method to debt fund and deploy finances to constuct Alpala.

Interesting addicknt you give credit to redknights post on AG, where he says that it will be used to debt fund Alpala, which is what I have been saying for nearly three years, as I have always taken the position of minimal dilution and debt funded.
But at the same time saying that we can never fund Alpala.
Which one is it please.

For me AG says we know the figures for the PFS and the build cost and technical challenges.
Hence AG is being set up now.
So the question is why is Nick and Ingo involved.
I believe this vehicle has been set up to finance Alpala to production, that's Ingo's involvement and NM is there to see his baby born. It's been a long run, but once finance is in place, then I believe the pace will increase. As Solgold has said many times we can do things in parallel.
This doesn't just apply to bringing on other tenements, but also our approach to the construction of Alpala.
I would like to suggest something else.
Ingo has said on various occasions that the first billion is already there.
I wonder if we have the rest of the funding and that it is agreed in principle, but now with AG we have the most tax efficient way to aquire and deploy.

Exactly rcgl2 I was looking through the MD&A, to find the names.
Redknight yet again tries to represent his own world view rather than the facts.
As DBW has said, with NM's direct and indirect holdings it is NM that holds the balance of power here, not BHP or NCM.
It means that as long as the diverse book on here remains diverse, that nobody can aquire us cheap, for all the reasons I have previously given.

Addicknt remember the company position, financing Alpala with limited dilution, with a PFS that is cheaper and quicker, this looks even more likely, not less likely. We await the PFS. Everything else is window dressing.

Colonel why would BHP and NCM have to vote for anything, the funding is Solgolds responsibility.
We never had a vote to accept the Franco Nevada deal, and we don't require a shareholder vote for funding, that is done at board level.

Agreed Mister and DBW. NM is not out.

Addicknt correct me you seem to be changing your position to slowly come closer to mine.
You have said that Solgold could never raise the money to take Alpala to production.
You now believe they can unless they are taken over along the way.
I know you have always said they will be taken over.
But this post seems to be suggesting that Solgold can raise the money to build Alpala.

Redknight keeps talking about institutional buying, but we have had no volume for years, Now he is suggesting that they are placing an order with a MM to fill an order, at what price may I ask, because over the last few days the price has fallen.
Had an order been placed to fill this wouldn't have happened.
