My last post today, as I promised DBW and BNC, I would not get drawn into this rubbish.

Thank you Bozi, for the record I agree it's about derisking. We need to understand what form the financing takes and it's terms. But as you say from the company point of view nothing has changed, and we proceed with the company's stated strategy.
Addicknt for the record Solgold has stated on more than one occasion that it would defend against any bid. This is why Citi was brought on board as defence to any bid should one arise.
No bids so far have arisen and if one should I am sure we will offer a robust defence.
I also believe the extra funding makes it tougher for any bid as it becomes more unlikely and as we proceed to becoming a producer more unlikely and more expensive to anyone bidding for us.
However for balance I have said personally I would be tempted by two pounds a share.
Today two pounds won't cut it, I would want closer to three pounds. Not because I am plucking figures out of the air, but because when the PFS is published and using revised copper and gold prices along with cheaper and faster financing of Alpala, that our NPV will be above three pounds a share.

DBW I am not being patronising. I try to understand why some post what they post.
I know we disagree and have always said you could be right and I could be wrong.
You and BNC listen to what the company says and post your views. I know you both understand my position when I say the most likely outcome is we go to production. I have never said it's certain. It's uninformed posters who have said I have said that I am certain. That is an outright lie, but certain people keep on repeating it.
However out of respect for yourself and BNC, I will not address a certain type of poster, for two reasons.
I am posting less these days, and as I said in my last post, I understand why I am invested.

Monte unlike you and others I listen very carefully to what is said. I don't try to interpret it.
I listen to the content and understand the difference to an official and unofficial communication.
No official communication has ever said we are not going to production since 2015.
What you are referring to is answers given by Nick Mather to questions about selling Solgold or Cascabel. These are standard answers given by any company.
You and others have interpted this according to your own world view.
Sorry but you and others on here show repeatedly that you know very little about investing and I suspect you have struggled to understand why Solgolds price is what it is, turning to all types of conspiracy theories including price fixing.
Remember Addicknt and Redknight said what is occurring now wasn't only unlikely but impossible. Redknight has since done an about face, but still talks rubbish. Whereas Addicknt has stuck to his guns.
If I was to tell you one thing about how to become a successful investor, it would be this.
Know why you are personally invested. Keep checking your understanding and take what others say with a pinch of salt. Even the ones that agree with you.
Keep checking that the reasons you are invested remain true, and listen carefully to the company you are invested in.
Do that and you will become a more rounded, well seasoned and more confident investor.
Doesn't mean you will get it right all the time. But you will learn from your mistakes and be more effective as an investor and get things right more often than you get them wrong.

Montecristo that is not true, since 2015 the company position has always been we are going to become a producer.
You are conflating what uninformed posters on this chatroom have said, by badly interrupted company communications.
In conversion yes the company has said it would consider fair price offers. But it said consider while stating Solgold is not for sale and we will defend all offers.
This is why we have taken the path we have, with the BHP standstill agreement that has now expired and bringing on Citi.
Listen to what the company says, and not the uninformed rubbish in this chatroom.

I don't know about anyone else, but I have been thinking this through and although as addicknt says we don't know the terms of this funding.
I do have one additional thought.
I don't believe this would have been announced unless we now have the rest of the funding to build Alpala agreed in principle.
What would be the point. Which to my thinking means we understand the costs and timescales to a reasonable degree to make these calculations. Which to my mind again means that the PFS is ready and that we are just adding the final touches to clean it up.

Solgold said that we aimed to transition from explorer to producer.
They said they would deliver a PFS cheaper and faster.
They said they would do this with minimal dilution.
No surprise here, as Solgold continues to do exactly what they are saying.
Yes we have had delays, but they are exactly that delays and not part of any ridiculous conspiracy theories.
Good news, let's get the PFS and the rest of the money to bring Alpala to production.

On CGP isn't the simplest answer the most likely. They were annoyed with NM because they needed Solgolds permission to use their 15 per cent of ENSA to raise funds to pay for their share of the Alpala build. NM denied them this, and tried unsuccessfully to aquire their share of ENSA on the cheap. Maybe they have Solgolds permission to use their share of ENSA to raise funds on equal terms prorata, and hence achieve maximum value. In other words, they are going to partner us in the Alpala construction.

Oh dear the board nutter has appeared. And apparently my thousands of posts are on share manipulation and nothing else.

Instead of saying I have no idea on share manipulation or staying quiet, you pretend to others you know what you are talking about, and mislead people on here. Addicknt mentioned QPP, anyone viewing what was happening at the time saw share manipulation. I was amazed people were buying right up to the end, and those that questioned them were ridiculed by ridiculous posters. Instead of insulting me, you should listen to what I say, and if you dispute anything I say, then support your statement with facts and evidence, and not say everyone has a point of view. That's just infantile.

Hi Bozi no one has any proof of manipulation, as none is happening. No one can manipulate a share with so little volume. It's the volume that is the problem, but I know you know that. It's pointless arguing with these people who think they know what they are talking about, who are just repeating the same thoughts to each other, convincing themselves because other misinformed people support their stance.
What they should do is report this and provide the evidence and it would be investigated. But they don't even understand how to do that, as they don't understand that reporting this and saying it must be happening, would make them look even more ridiculous. Manipulation of a share price is easy to spot, and their is zero evidence of it happening here with Solgold. Simply down to lack of volume.

All the conspiracy theorists have been saying that we will not get a CEO as a bid is coming.
Now they are saying having a CEO means we are going to get a bid.
You really couldn't make it up.
Our new CEO has said he wants to increase value. He has not said Solgold is changing direction.
So we are still heading to production.
Lastly common sense applys, if we had an imminent bid, then our share price would not be what it is now.
Incredible, I hardly post these days, because of all the nonsense talked about, by so called experts. How depressing.

This applies to people that what us to go to production for the big prize. Those that want a bid that is mediocre.

Mathers what you are accusing Blackrock of involves serious jail time for making pennies, surely some common sense must apply to this debate. If you believe this is being manipulated take your evidence to the FCA. At least read this article.

I agree Mathersfinger, that's why the Solgold share price is not being manipulated, what you are talking about is the bulk of trades happening in Solgold. Are you saying that is what is happening here. If that was the case traders would have a field day by tracking this activity and the volume would be far greater. But we see no evidence of this. Look how many shares are traded a day. It's not even ten million, which would still be on the low side.

Your correct on my holdings and my strategy.
The answer to your question is simple. I don't trade, I used to and made money, but I did it with small amounts. Trading doesn't fit my strategy.
I have built a portfolio that has solid finances and good divided cover and supplies me with income. Solgold is my wildcard, as now and again I pick a potential growth share. My last one was Fortune Oil. I made money but was disappointed with the outcome. Anyone that lived the Fortune oil story knows only invest in growth shares that have a diverse book. Not making that mistake again.
