RE: Interview thoughts9 Jun 2022 18:22
I just watched it as well, for the first time. What struck me was his comments on the type of investors they are seeking says a lot about the way they themselves see the company. It seems to me they have a real certainty about what they are doing, the position they are in, and what they have achieved. They have what is needed to build something hugely significant in treatment of every kind of cancer, and they really know it. So they want real partners in a huge project, not fly-by-nights. They have a deep confidence in what they have. Just my thoughts - and I like them! Maybe Angling [sorry!] at SMT?
Someone mentioned the danger of others catching up: but he said no other company has anything like this in with the FDA - and it took them over 6 years. That is a fantastic moat.
I told you on the May 27th: "Sold about 30% this afternoon (and should have done it yesterday). I agree this is far too cheap. It has amazing prospects. If I had none I would be aching to be in. I expect it to be going on up. But time and again what I expect doesn't happen. I get it WRONG. I've had a lot of failures. If I look at where I have done well before it's where I have taken profits, and remembered to come back in again if it drops heavily later. So often after a spike things meander downwards for quite a while, until there is significant news."
Bought it back today, and a bit more. Marked as a 'sell', but wasn't.
In spite of my sale I didn't dream it would fall this much so quickly. Could go further, but the risk to the upside seems v strong to me. Just need a bit of solid news, which will take a month or so, after the FDA. My FOMO got the better of me. Always does. :)
