Yes, it's had a long run down since February, the momentum has been the other way. I know nothing about technicals, but with over 78% in large holders hands, which appear to be sticky, I would guess that low volume would do that.
But as you say the potential is huge, and unless it goes bust it will turn some time. I can't see it going bust, with the deals they have they will surely be able to raise what they need to survive to profitability. With such a small free portion of shares any real buying could make it rocket.
And someone's just bought 15k shares! (My earlier buy was marked as a sell.). Annoying: they paid less than me...!

NB the University of Plymouth tested 6 systems - and ours was the stand out by far.
And while India is really great I just love that deal you all know about with Sea-Lion, the largest washing machine manufacturer in China. Environmental is going great guns in China, I think, especially when it affects their local environment. High single digit royalties, great.

I'm in. "Still think this will turn at some point and the herd will arrive." Never been good at herd, but could I be the first?
They have the tech, they have the proven products, they have the deals and route to market, the market has a gigantic driver (environmental concern and climate change, energy water and chemical saving), and the market is very large indeed. Could be 15 months to break-even... and then what??
Plus it's very near its all time low, off which it bounced a few weeks back. Yes!
https://www.energy-storage.news/norways-freyr-battery-signs-us3-billion-off-take-deal-with-energy-storage-industry-customer/
“FREYR Battery, a European startup developing advanced lithium-ion battery cells for mass production, has signed a 31GWh off-take agreement with an energy storage system manufacturer.
One of about two dozen established and new players seeking to create gigafactories in Europe, Norway’s FREYR wants to initially build out production capacity at four factories powered by renewable energy, including its home country’s abundant hydropower resources.
Work is already underway on its initial 2GWh plant in Mo i Rana, Norway and the company has signed a technology partnership with US advanced battery tech company 24M, developer of a novel manufacturing platform called SemiSolid.
Battery cells made using the platform have thicker electrodes than other types and can be much higher energy density with lower production costs than other cells, the companies have claimed.
FREYR said yesterday that it has signed the deal to supply “at least 31GWh” of its low-carbon battery cells to a publicly-listed manufacturer and provider of energy storage systems (ESS).
The customer’s name has not been disclosed at this stage, but it is FREYR’s first “significant” off-take deal, CEO Tom Jensen said.
Cells will be delivered over five years from 2023 to 2028, from FREYR’s manufacturing facilities in Norway and the battery company forecasted the deal could be worth about US$3 billion.
“This development advances us towards a final investment decision, the start of construction on our initial Gigafactories, and industrial-scale commercialisation of FREYR’s clean battery cells,” Jensen said.
Remember, from July, “ Mpac Group plc, a global leader in high-speed packaging and automation solutions, announces that its Mpac Lambert ("Mpac") business has signed a contract with FREYR Battery ("FREYR") for the supply of the casting and unit cell assembly equipment package to the battery cell production line at FREYR's Customer Qualification Plant ("CQP") in Mo i Rana, Norway.”
Frustrating. It seemed like at last they had got their act together. Really think it’s worth more than this.
Thanks Jon, that is useful information. Colgate seem to have been investigating around the same time, or a little after, and got the same result. So, yes, not unique.
They also seem to look on it as a means to lower the likelihood of passing the bug on to others, while my dreamy hope is that if the primary infection is in the throat then gargling at the right time might knock it out completely, or at least knock out so much that it delays the progress so much that the immune system gets time to man the defences and sort it. 2 up by half time: far less likely to progress to serious infection. Plus it acts as a free booster jab.
While not unique it would mean that they have in full production and with all permits and systems in place, and export routes across the world, something cheap that is a major contributor against the disease, and is variant agnostic. Especially great for those many countries that aren't able to get their hands on jabs, and those in rich countries unwilling to have them.
Interesting the space they give to what nobody seems interested in:
"The Company continues to await the publication of the peer-reviewed in vivo study carried out by Cardiff University, which was completed in April this year. Whilst the Board is disappointed that this has taken longer than expected to publish, and does acknowledge that the timing is outside the control of Cardiff University, it is hopeful the final publication will be available soon. Further, the Company notes the recent announcement made by Salisbury Hospital regarding specific mouth care guidance for patients with Covid-19. As well as regular toothbrushing, the guidance also suggests that both Dentyl Dual Action and Dentyl Fresh Protect should be used. The Company understands this guidance was based on research conducted by Doctors at Salisbury Hospital, as well as the in-vitro (lab based) results widely published by Cardiff University in November 2020."
First I'm just relieved that they mention it at all. If the results were bad and being quietly buried they wouldn't. Second, they mention their disappointment, and point the finger of blame - sort of. They're publicly kicking some hidden someone up the proverbial. If the truth is it does work that person/s will have many lives on their hands, and now has an interest in it not working: but the figures will be the figures and if you twisted them too far in a bad direction you could turn a nightmare into an utter disaster. The best thing for them is to get them out soon. I would be hopeful for this month.
Remember the in vitro results from 21st October last year:
"Today, the Company provides an update on the recently published[1] in-vitro results from a separate, independent laboratory study undertaken at Cardiff University by Dr Richard Stanton and his colleagues.
In their published in-vitro[2] study, scientists at Cardiff University concluded that Venture Life's two CPC based mouthwashes eradicated the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) virus completely (>5log reduction, equivalent to 99.999%) within a 30 second exposure. The virus was supplied by Public Health England, unlike other similar studies reported in the media, which have not used the relevant COVID-19 virus, but a related strain of it.
Cardiff University went on to state that the 'exact formulation is also important'. Whilst the CPC technology in Venture Life's mouthwash proved highly effective in the in-vitro study, they also tested a third mouthwash, which also contained both CPC and another ingredient, yet this proved ineffective."
99.999% reduction with a 30 second in vitro exposure.
Yes, I know: throat, not nose (use Taffix), and lung (see SNG001 from Synairgen) - but gaining the body vital TIME. And the Salisbury docs agree.
Still gargling. Still well. And tripled my holding.
Fantastic - as expected.
The new bit of course is the updated Outlook, as follows:
"Outlook
The Company delivered a record set of results, and our products are gaining greater visibility in the marketplace. In addition, Cerillion's financial position is very strong, supported by a growing base of recurring income, increased cash flows, and no debt.
We believe that Cerillion remains well-positioned to deliver another strong performance over the new financial year. The back-order book stands at a record level, providing strong visibility of revenues, and the pipeline of new business is strong. In addition to these strong organic growth prospects, we also continue to assess a range of inorganic growth opportunities as they arise.
The market backdrop is favourable, with increasing investment by telecom companies in their networks and in digital transformation, and this long-term trend should continue to benefit Cerillion's growth prospects."
Topped up a bit this morning.
Then this afternoon there's major buying: 2 lots of 810k shares, and 2 of 405k shares ie 3 lots of 810k - so rising £600k worth of shares, all at 24p.
Any thoughts as to what is going on anyone? Is this some kind of admin? Or have I been fortunate?? :)(
SP hasn't moved.
Yes, there's always these downs (or ups) you can't see a reason for. Usually they come good and were opportunities. I now try not to react on the day, but it's been astonishing to me the difference 2 or 3 top ups/slices a year - while keeping a core holding - makes in these volatile AIM shares. Even when you're a complete and utter amateur.
Topped up with what I could find. Grateful.
Stiefel above said "we remain attracted to Volex's end-market drivers, with the benefit of both improving core demand plus the structural change in the electrical vehicle (EV) market and the new opportunities in defence and off-highway." People are raising questions about EV's sometimes now, environmental issues of battery production, range, etc, but my guess is that a whole lot of people who've bought them and made them work would never, ever, go back to dirty slow old petrol.
I'm no good at software, but this looks impressive. I particularly like the last paragraph, which indicates to me as someone "no good at software" perhaps why our software is so popular: regularly up-to-dated, coverall software that does the job and takes the worry out of constantly having to search out and evaluate new systems.
And it does seem to be popular: that was a stonking last update. Why oh why has nobody noticed?! :)
Last paragraph: "Cerillion's pure product model and six-monthly major releases already deliver clear benefits to its customers - one product for all service types, faster and lower risk implementation, earlier access to new features and lower total cost of ownership - and this new release maintains the Company's positioning at the forefront of its market."
A lot of people will have doubled now, and some prudent profit-taking would be in order. Sadly, I'm seldom prudent! Many will have rules they stick to, a pretty wise strategy. Especially now at the end of the week.
Talking of RNS's, Jatw, and BOD buying or leaked news, we are long overdue one on the effectiveness of Dentyl against Covid-19. I have not had the courtesy of a reply to what I thought was a courteous enquiry on the subject, either.
Black mark, to my mind. If they buy and then a good RNS on the subject drops in a week or so I will be well annoyed.
Remember in vitro effectiveness was virtually 100%, and we are still waiting the in vivo results.
Intuitive Investment Group (IIG) up over 12% this morning, which holds 7.6% of LST, which is a much larger percetage for them. They invested the absolute max according to their rules, plus their Chair and CEO also hold large personal stakes. Think they like us!
Their SP hadn't moved until a day or two back, but now the penny's dropped? May still be cheap, not sure, but it's another way in.
Evans and Naylor must be pleased. With LST sp flirting with 20p this morning their personal stakes have about doubled.
Looks like the penny's dropped here too.
Next stop... the Moon!!! LOL
Well, maybe next but one.
And I'm NOT talking about the share price... Even if it is up over 20% today. Which is nice.
Just great to be able to make that comment... in all seriousness! Wahay
