Retailing pioneer Kishore Biyani is the founder and group CEO of the $3.5 billion (revenue) retail giant Future Group.
The group includes hypermarket chain Big Bazaar, food retailer Food Hall and convenience store chain EasyDay.
Shares of Biryanis Future Retail surged after it was re-listed in August 2016 as an asset-light, pure-play retailer.
Biyani started out in 1987 with a trouser brand called Pantaloons but an expansion binge saddled him with debt forcing him to sell Pantaloons.

I have always believed that India provides innumerable opportunities to develop new consumer businesses.

Isn't it funny how those massive trades were kept under wraps until the close of play. Well the cat is well & truly out of the bag now!
I'm glad with my sub 18p top ups recently as you must be Jambon.
You can well & truly forget sub 18p now, let alone the mystical 13p (plucked out of thin air).
This was played so that the big fish could fill their boots at the expense of the minnows.
Those huge buys will give the green light to many Investors- I promise you that. Seen it time & time again.

The reason these posters don't talk about fundamentals is because they have no interest in Koovs. They know nothing about the company, the sector or India. Probably don't even know what demonetisation or GST are.
The ironic thing is they know very little about technical/ chart analysis either. If they did, they certainly wouldn't trade on AIM.
So the question is- why come on here disrupting the thread with the same old spam? Bitter ex holders me thinks......

If this goes to £10, it is bullish, if it goes to 0p, it is bearish. What a genius I am, especially if I repeat it dozens of times, disrupting & spamming the thread ; )

I know what you mean Mark- I know many use the internet just to spam & pass time, but this particular poster made a remark that he couldn't back up, so had to put him in his place.

Still here, was just waiting for you to actually prove my 24p buy, which you couldn't. I take it that this is your first year trading real money? You know zilch about fundamentals & your knowledge of technical trading is rather embarrassing.
As for the other site- oh dear, how desperate is that? A site full of losers who bought in at the IPO of 150p, who lost their shirts & now just post rubbish to make themselves feel better. (You sound familiar).

For the record, I'm a long termer. Started accumulating at 15p, over two years ago. Went big at 18p soon after. Had various top ups at 50p- even higher : (This time around, topped at 5p/ 6p & upwards.
I make no secret that i hold well over 1 million shares.
I'm happy to follow Chairman Lord Waheed Alli, hence why i added at 5p. A Billion pound company in a few years will give me £3 a share. I'll take that thankyou!

I've had many sub 18p buys recently (all posted). Also had many 5p/ 6p buys too.

I'm here for the long term. I don't mind listening to alternative arguments, but yours was flawed. Your theory was corrected time & time again by many on here. I've been a technical trader for a very long time & just need to point out to less experienced guys on here that a) the analysis is flawed & b) is not consistent on AIM

albeit with low volumes. The scaremongers reckon a load of shares will be sold onto the market on Thur 19th July. I think they will be rather disappointed!
Forget your poor technical analysis with this one- its going to bounce & its going to bounce BIG, once all the amateurs realise that the big boys are holding onto their shares. It is the exact reason why share were NOT offered to the impatient public, many of whom are just small time players in a very big game.

Yes you're right, AIM is very different to the main market where there is a lot of liquidity. I am pretty astounded that there is virtually no talk about fundamentals here, just some flawed theories on how this will get to 13p. Fundamentals will tell you that there was an oversubscribed placing at 15p.
I honestly can't believe that one poster has clogged this board with his flawed methods. As I have said before, you need volumes & liquidity for technical analysis. You do not get that with AIM. The spread is awful too. I know many successful technical traders & trust me, not one trades on AIM.
As fundamentals do not interest you, try trading currency pairs.......

This out today, a detailed analysis of Koovs journey to become a Billion pound company. I' m not really surprised that nobody picked up on this, as very little research is posted on here, whilst some repeat the same old technical analysis (which hardly works on illiquid low volume AIM stocks.

As can be seen on here & elsewhere, there are two types of traders. Those that invest on fundamentals & those that trade on technical analysis. With equities, I invest on fundamentals. My technical trading is done with a couple of indices & currency pairs. There isn't a single successful technical trader that I know that trades on AIM. There simply isn't enough volume/ liquidity. The spread is awful too.
I couldn't care less if this bounced off 27p twice. just like I couldn't care less when it bounced off 7.5p a couple of times after I topped up at 5p/6p. Way too much emphasis is being put on technicasl here. There is not enough volume.
A single 'tip', article, rns always blows technicals out of the water with the micro cap stocks on AIM
The fundamental traders will still be here after 6 months- the others will have long gone.....

ade- great to hear from you again! I remember when it was just us & the odd other poster on here. We'd done our research, then Indian PM Narendra Modi decided to bring in demonetisation & GST which crippled the sector & Koovs in particular. I wrote off my large holding until KPMG'S Nina Amin came on board- that was the green light for me to start topping up.

I was hoping that funding would be done at 25p, but hey- you couldn't ask for a bigger partner than Kishore Biyani.

You probably don't even recognise this board now- although I suspect a few wont be here in a few weeks.

Ps, have a feeling that the fundraising circular could be out tomorrow- looking out for a big name or two.

Although fully funded, the 10p/15p funding is weighing this down.
Jambon, have you written to Koovs, or the Hardman & Co analyst Jason Streets? Both get back to you with a detailed response, especially the latter, Jason Streets.
Obviously, he will not state anything that is not in the public domain & I certainly will not post any of the correspondance that I have had with him, suffice to say that he is also disappointed that the price has not reacted more to the cash actually being raised.

Not sure what sort of updates people are waiting for.
It will be a while before Future Group has an impact on figures here.
By then, virtually all the AIM traders who expect an rns every day would have left the building, scratching their heads wondering why bulletin board posts had no effect on the share price.

It's their job to create a market, especially when volumes are low.
AIM traders are a fickle bunch, which is great for long term investors.....
