Lets remind ourselves of the sh*te our resident genius comes out with - this is a post from July:
'Hi swatton, only just seen your post after travel Ng through all the dross.
I'd be happy with 5k if they're kind enough to give us the monthly prod figure. Not sure that they'll announce commercial production in the Q2 report though but we've got to be bloody close. One saving grace if we're waiting several more weeks for commercial production is that Kor doesn't need to be at full commercial production for HUM to have commercial production at group level.
With HUM now seeming through the marginal and transitional ores, the excavation will will be more targeted ie cheaper to mine and Yan underground works and excavation is now complete, so also cheaper to mine going forward.
Not including debt capital Opex for both mines should be circa 200 million. 80K ounces brings in 180 million on an average price of 2250.
Just 5k a month from kor at 2250 and it's another 130 million for what would be considered a production failure.
Free cash flow of 90 million if Kor fails... If it doesn't and we get the 10k a month as guided from Kor then... well, do the maths. ππππππ'
Far from making millions HUM actually lost millions in Q2. Don't believe the hype - the losses are in all likelihood still racking up as they continue to ramp up Kou (the longest ramp up in history).
