Hopefully when the resource upgrade is announced more years will have been added than than the time taken to do the drilling. It is very important for HUM to extend the life of mine rather than it just staying roughly where it was a year ago. Fingers crossed.

Nice to hear Dan talking about visible gold in the latest drill cores at Kouroussa. That should mean some cracking grades are due to be reported.

Yes it helps that HUM already have a mine but I seem to recall that Coris also gave HUM a massive loan to build Yanfolia (there current operating mine), $60m rings a bell. So hopefully a very large part will be a loan here too. With a high price of gold and millions of ounces in the ground it not not particularly risky for the lender.

Now that CSH have provided a full response and also confirmed the dividend is being maintained (c. 6%) I am hopeful that we will see a steady rise back to previous levels (120p).

Perhaps MC should speak to Coris Bank who have just agreed to loan HUM $100m at 8.5% interest to fund the entire build cost of their next mine in Guinea. Just shows that there doesn't have to be dilution for shareholders. Hopefully MC can pull off something similar.
