Said before "guidelines" are exactly that! Not written in stone promises as some on here, and all AIM, like to make out! You go by the last RNS or news from the company. That is all you can do. In any type of mining timelines are fluid. I would be amazed if they haven't had the odd hiccup during optimisation. Doesn't mean you have to RNS every single thing. Another AIM PI nonsense.

FWIW the company are aware of PI's frustration and the SP. Very easy to either pick up the phone, or E mail them, and tell them your views directly. Better than moaning on an anonymous AIM bb perhaps?

As far as I am concerned the timelines for the plant optimisation, spot price for trailers and offtakes agreements as going as they should be.

LLL you hit the nail there with the word "guidance" that is exactly what it is, not promises, not set in stone deadlines.

All any company can do is offer guidance, and legally they couldn't do anything more than that or would be open to be sued!

Most experienced investors know that guidance timelines slip all the time, especially so in Mining, which is harder to predict and hiccups do occur frequently.

It doesn't matter that they approached us, likely offering more than we needed and at a time we didn't really need it(fully funded for this phase). Most of us expected a placing after results but you don't turn down these type of offers on AIM!

5M is a huge amount for a company of our size and at this stage. NO II is going to do it without a discount.

It was a great deal and as I said before you don't know what the SP was when this was negotiated. These deals, especially when several different entities involved, take time and due diligence to set up. Look at the SP in the few weeks beforehand. Just because SP was around 0.04 when RNS came out that doesn't automatically mean that flipping the shares gave them profit from that price to placing price.

The SP could easily have been at 0.035, or less, when the deal was struck. Puts a different perspective on it eh?

What is significant is we weren't told something like below (from HEX RNS) this is pretty standard type wording in placings

"The Issue Price represents a discount of approximately 12 per cent. to the preceding 15 day volume weighted average price (VWAP) of 28.4 pence per Ordinary Share."

IMHO it was on the lower side that some folk on here jumped to conclusions not understanding

That the SP then dropped down to the placing price is expected and standard on AIM.

Shares are flipped again very standard.
