Anyone else reading some criticism of DQE's operating techniques in the RNS? I've thought for a while that Buck has started to think that DQE might have been a big part of our issues up to this point.

Totally agree. It's the lack of debt that is so good here. Any debt from here, such as RBL, would be purely accretive.

Well done Master on your 'well done' to Mike Buck. If we criticise, and rightly so, then we should also give credit when it's due. For all his mistakes, Buck has stuck at it and is leading us forward slowly.

I have sent some scathing emails to Mike Buck in recent times - he even read one of them out when he announced his pay cut at the presentation! - but I will be sending one today congratulating him and his team on this result. That's only fair.

A new high on the Bid

There's no need to engage with the compost - the simple question is, is this company worth more than its current 14mill Mcap? If you think it is, then buy and hold as the value will out. It feels like we are slowly approaching the point where that starts to happen. I'm still accumulating.

Yes, strange to highlight dilution as a concern going forward for a company that has almost no history of doing so. My biggest issue over the last seven or eight years has been the slow rate of progress with any rise being sold into. Now the company's progress is accelerating mainly because JV has slowly built a solid foundation - his studied and cautious approach is really paying off. One can only see exponential growth from here, and in a much tighter time frame than previously.

Well, nothing happens quickly with MATD for sure, but I have the impression that things have picked up rapidly with regards to the farm-out talks in recent weeks. I thought this week's update marked a step change in the rate of progress. Buck is absolutely right to crack on with well testing and development while the talks go on in parallel. The best position to have in negotiations is to demonstrate that you can walk away if the deal in not right. Make it clear that we're not a distressed seller. Very keen but not desperate. Yet. Hahaha
