Further to the potential to acid wash H1, I've been thinking along those same lines myself. Also, this might be a stupid question, but would the recovered acid from H2 be reusable in any way? Sorry if you've already covered this. Busy day today.

Price of oil looking a bit stronger..

Clearly H2 didn't go as planned but I'm OK with that. Anything unforeseen can come up, I guess. My reading is that the pre-acid greater oil shows made them a bit over-enthusiastic with the acid! Leaving it downhole gives it every opportunity to really attack the rock cement etc to open up the oil-bearing fissures, ducts etc. They clearly think the thing should flow but the damned thing is a reluctant bugger! It's like taking the whip to a horse that will only trot even though it has all the physical attributes.....and it then takes off and wins the race! Interesting day today anyway.

Hamm, I would concur with your analysis there and add that if H2 becomes a solidly producing well, we would then be in a stronger position to go it alone at Heron as we might be able to secure RBL. This prospect alone helps in any partnering discussions as the strongest position to have in any negotiation is the ability to walk away.

My guess is definitive news on H2 by the second week of October. Pretty quick to bring it onstream then with beam pump, completion string in situ. Positive update

That's how I read things Investor.

We can expect news on the start of the Gazelle test within the week. I would then expect the results of the definitive H2 pumped test pretty early in October. Can't take too long to pump out 640 barrels of fluids. Other news events in the offing. Looks like a very busy news period coming up. Bring it on!
