I'm slightly out of the loop still. Presumably if H2 comes onstream any pumping will be done using electricity straightaway. As tough as raising at .8p was, I'm still relieved that we didn't get involved in ridiculous debt structures such as convertible bonds etc. OK we've got a lot more shares but the share count isn't silly as happened at UKOG et al and being debt-free at this time is worth its weight. The debt can come when we are in a stronger position if we need it for fully accretive reasons.

That's worth asking Investor. I've had a right gripe at the company this week about several things and at least they replied with an attempt at answering these even if only partially so. One of which was indeed why they didn't turn to Petrovis to get the cash to start the testing earlier then any further raise would probably have been at a higher price. BTW if you have concerns about the way the company is operating then I would advise you to contact the company directly using the link on their website. I've sent several emails over the last week and each one has been replied to. Obviously you won't get any insider info back but the IR team seem much more proactive in allaying specific concerns pretty quickly. I make a point of not sharing my private correspondence although I can say I've gleaned a couple of useful nuggets. For example, I think it's possible that the H2 test results will come in next week as the company has clearly put a shot across DQE's bows about dragging its feet on the testing schedule. We'll see but drilling and test results have come in well ahead of schedule in the recent times. 50bopd would be a significant lift to our current income and improve our negotiating hand into the bargain.

Yes Investor. The early move into renewables is clearly about diversifying the company's remit. That's sensible given how volatile the oil price can be. Im alwaysstruck by how enthusiastic and conversant withthe details of the renewables side of the business Buck is. I feel he would welcome the chance to direct his efforts at the newer exciting sector rather than have to chip away to progress in the more moribund oil sector. All to play for here still though. No real drift since the placing so most seem happy to hold and wait to see where we are at the end of the current works programme. Still looks pretty strong to

me despite the depressed share price.

Also, the whole idea behind Block V11 is a rinse and repeat of Heron but with lessons learned from the latter and within a much healthier regulatory framework - explore, find oil, bring to production and effectively hand the development of the new field over to a bigger partner. Monies from bothfields get poured into the booming renewables sector. Always a big if, but if all works out as planned this will be huge.

Yes, the numbers at Sunsteppe looking increasingly good and the political backing for the sector has upped the pace of development. Makes the oil sector look positively pedestrian. I have long believed that part of the search for a partner for Heron is to free up the company in terms of time, finances and focus to pivot more aggressively towards the more exciting renewables sector. The potential in Mongolia for exportable renewable energy production is almost unlimited and the Sunsteppe JV positioned us really well in this regard.

Feels like we are coming close to a number of turning points. Just watched the latest presentation from MB - he seemed pretty bullish and confident. I've always had high hopes for Sunsteppe and we should ride the wave of rapid sector development in the region. I've said before that I think Buck is looking to pivot in that direction sooner than he originally envisioned. A lot riding on these well tests, especially wrt the potential partnering; we simply have to show that we can go it alone if we have to and have options - any of the three coming good would satisfy these exigencies.

I've been averaging down this week, having pondered the wisdom of this for some weeks now. Over 3 million shares now so I'm in relatively big for a PI. Lovely to see my MAFL investment flying - 109% up there which allows me to up my risk here somewhat. And MATD is a high risk venture, make no mistake but the potential here is absolutely massive now. GLA genuine investors. We're still here and kicking.

Imo all to play for still, 3 bites at the cherry coming up in short order, and Sunsteppe looking better and better. Plenty to look forward to, not much of a tick-up needed to reach my new average from here so still pretty comfortable with it all. The blocked remain blocked and I'll be adding a few more forthwith by the look of things.

Strange sale of 80k shares at 21.8p. The bid has stayed around 23.3p for quite a while and I can still sell 50k at 23.29p now. Any ideas?

Master, you don't think there's a link between Petrovis' long-term support and their relationship with Mike Buck. Seems to me we would run the risk of losing Petrovis if Buck is ousted. What are your thoughts on this? Surely the Petrovis backing is down to Mike Buck?
