Actually, I agree with Hamm to a certain degree; I think Buck is looking to divert cash into our renewables arm because he's seen what's going on there. Who can blame the bloke for being seduced by the shiny new sector -after years of slogging through the mud of regulatory approval in the oil sector, of the regular disappointment of wildcats and ensuing grief from impatient shareholders, of the uncertainty of income and oil price, he now has a big foot the door in a sector that is having cash thrown at it, with Mongolians falling over themselves to build infrastructure, and with mind-boggling returns a distinct possibility. Therefore I see any money diverted to Sunstepoe as inherently positive and forward-looking.

I'm going out on a limb here but i think selling for good profit is the general idea, Badprophet. 4p would be well over 100k profit for me so, sure, I'm morally corrupt enough to consider selling for that sort of profit. Not sure you really get this whole investing malarkey - you're meant to make money not just write on boards. But each to their own.

Very unusual for MATD to do a presentation at this time of year. The only other time they did so was the week after the announcement of the discovery at Heron in 2019.

Absolute no-brainer down at these levels; producing field with increasingly stabilised flow and proven reserves, monster acreage at block VII, start-up issues being resolved, 50% share of regionally significant renewables outfit targeting monetisation in 2026, income-generating, one farm-out offer on the table with company looking for more from other interested parties, regulatory environment much-improved and NO DEBT. Market cap 20 odd mill.

Still, looking forward to the presentation tomorrow - expecting Buck to flesh out the farm-in offer we have on the table, and more info on Gazelle. No coincidence for me that the offer follows hard on the heels of the outstanding result at G1. Also block VII is such a biggie that it wouldn't surprise me if one of the other potential farmees he's courting for XX is the neighbouring producer to Block VII, aiming for one big deal using XX as the carrot for VII. Buck has explicitly expressed his wish to partner with a Chinese outfit which adds to my theory. This is also why they've already produced some data on VII imo. So, tomorrow's shound tells us more. Wouldn't be surprised if Buck drops a nice little surprise RNS in the morning.

Pretty decent week in the end. 30% up, back in profit, not much priced in yet, things clearly progressing, farm-out a step closer, best month for income just recorded and an investor presentation to come to flesh things out a bit. Plus I'll get the chance to have a moan at Buckie. Dead of winter now, time to crack open a very good single malt. One thing we definitely do better than the French. Good weekend to all. Slàinte!

For me, Buck mentioning other potential suitors is him doing his poker face and trying whip up a bit of a bidding war or at least make it clear that the first proposal will have to be improved. Given that Buck is old school he's bound to adhere to old adage about never accepting the first offer. Gospel for anyone over 50.

Well, at least keeping Adw busy on here abusing investors might take a bit of the edge off his behaviour in 'real life'. Lets him release all that aggression, misanthropy and sheer hatred in a controlled environment. Soo, MCAP just over 20mill and for that we have an oil producing field with two wells producing at the upper end of bopd for the basin, we have millions of barrels of OIP, with 100% ownership, with at least one offer of farm-in on the table; 100% ownership of another massive block to explore with producing wells nearby with a farm-in partner already being sounded out; , we have an oil refinery and pipeline in the latter stages of construction to increase our netbacks; we have NO DEBT; we have a 50% ownership of a JV in a renewables outfit which is becoming increasingly important nationally and globally; we have the backing of Petrovis; we are close to sorting out PC for full payment included backpayment of a substantial amount; we have a streamlined company with key members taking lower pay possibly for shares tbc; we have the backing of the Mongolians who have worked with us to improve the regulatory and administrative frameworks for oil exploration and development which makes both XX and VII more attractive to farmees; we have a third well with increasing oil shows but with some flow issues; we have no debt.

So in my book that's basically nothing priced in yet.

Oh, and I have millions of shares in this debt-free mid-cap oiler in the making and I'm already in profit at these giveaway levels!!
