Wondering if the presentation might be about personnel changes? Buck stepping down, new role maybe? Doing more with Sunsteppe? Just speculation but it's been on my mind that it's very rare to do a presentation at this time of year. 2019 was the last time, right after the discovery at Heron. I guess there has been a lot going on in the last couple on months so maybe just an end of season summary. Still hope my question as to why no work got started until October gets addressed. We ran out of time for getting a final answer at H2 and missed Gobi altogether so it needs answering. Anyway, all will be revealed!

When I drive up through France on my way back to UK I pass literally hundreds of wind turbines. Who put them there, why did they, who paid for them and who made money in all the processes of putting them there? Bizarre to suggest there isn't money involved in creating renewable infrastructure.

Final comment Hamm - the idea of creating a profit-making renewables business isn't what SRE are about atm - they're looking to bring a project to to ready-to-build status and then sell it for a premium. Similarly, I'm going to install solar panels on my house and understand it's unlikely I'll make a return as the end-user. However, all the companies involved in designing, developing, delivering and installing those panels will have made money along the way. As I said, a very well-positioned and well-coonected SRE is looking to secure some tasty pieces of the pie on the development side. It's not difficult to understand, as you suggest.

You think MATD be the only funder going forward? The RNS suggests otherwise and given the enthusiasm for renewables in Mongolia, and from state actors which see Mongolia as the ideal site for large-scale renewables projects, I tend to share the company's confidence that external ie not MATAD, funding will be secured. Maybe something we can press Buck on tomorrow? He's very keen and sees 'high value potential' in the projects, as per the RNS. We won't fund the projects in my view, but we will stump up the cash to keep our SRE start-up afloat and in the game.

They're effectively a start-up Hamm. They're looking for piece or pieces of the action in a burgeoning sector as with most start-ups. They seem in great place to start monetising fairly soon, they are clearly very well-connected politically, and Buck's enthusiasm has grown and grown, as evidence in the space afforded the SRE projects in the RNS. And it's the subsidy money flowing into the sector that they're looking to get hold of - at this stage the model is to sell at the ready to build stage so.
