For the record Thorn I genuinely believe this company has every chance of becoming a pretty big outfit. A few tricky steps along the way but for those with the cajones to hold through the trying moments, it could be life-changer. It's got more key pieces in place than most Aim energy companies can ever dream of achieving. Get past this initial production start up period in one piece and the growth could be exponential. No guarantees as this is Aim after all and this firm has a shot.

Oh, I think the general drift of the AGM will be positive Thorn. I just don't expect to blown out if my chair by a big announcement. The odd couple of hints dropped of bigger news to come or things happening in the background would be enough to get us moving north. Actually quite a tricky balancing act for Buck when you think about it.

Agreed Abzzba. LSE won't do a thing to clean up their platform which allows illegal stockbashing groups to proliferate. I'm sure there are many like me who refuse to subscribe for exactly this reason.

Having said that, I'd be more than happy with something along the lines of 'H1 is looking very promising after a bit of jiggery-pokery and H2 is looking a bit more enthusiastic after we shoved a large pipe-cleaner down the hole and wiggled it about a bit'. The sign-off would be a huge bonus but I can't see that news dropping tomorrow, neither by RNS nor during the AGM.

Tbh I don't recall the company ever releasing RNS news on the day of an AGM. The day before but not the same day. Unless that sign-off came in late this afternoon!!

Yes Thorn. My main point is not that we won't be getting some big announcements on developments going forward, it's just that I don't think they'll materialise in the AGM. They're often a damp squib in terms of revelations tbh. He might give the odd ambiguous hint for us here to squabble over ad nauseam though. I hope I'm wrong and it's a breakout-triggering event however! Anyway good luck to all us honest holders for the morn.

Actually I'm not expecting huge announcements tomorrow as big developments should be RNS'd when they arrive not saved for an AGM. I expect an update on H1 and H2 remedial works, and expect Buck to demur on funding, maybe just outlining what options may be available, speaking in general terms about potential interested parties etc. I'd be surprised if there's anything definitive although as I said earlier, if he starts saying that he's not allowed to divulge certain things due to confidentiality reasons etc, then that would trigger a bit of excitement. The outlier is Sunsteppe in my view - could be anything or nothing there. He'll be pushed on funding for sure and we'll all hang on his precise wording even as he ums and ahs about it. What he will be obliged to do is give some explanation as to why he indicated end of Feb for sign-off and no word on it since. I'd like to think he's decent but I'll be looking for some sort of evidence that his end of Feb heads-up wasn't a lie to keep the punters onside. So nothing spectacular in my view, but there will be enough for our troubled bulletin board to tear itself to pieces over.

Given that this shot up from 12p to 24p on the back of a few big buys, imagine what will happen when JV announces a 'monetization event'! These shares are tightly held for the most part, particularly by JV himself so this could absolutely explode with the right news. Plus he mentioned more than one event so even more bang for our buck to follow. Lovely.

On more germane matters, I am expecting Buck to say there are things under discussion about which he cannot speak yet. That would be enough to ignite the rocket engines here.

I don't recall anything about registering to get the recording. It should be sent to members of the group directly. I couldn't attend live so am hoping to receive the video I order to see where we are now. Looking forward to it.

It wasn't mentioned I the RNS explaing the 2024 AGM logistics. Also there was an operational update at 11.32am last year but about a month after the AGM. There was also one five days before the AGM. In 2023 there was an update the day before the AGM.

Just an observation - the opportunity for remote attendees to ask questions during the AGM was not offered at last year's event. It is this year though.

Thanks Manx. I can't see Doc's posts though. Well, if Buck does announce a raise beforehand he'll get an absolute pummelling and he's bound to be bombarded with questions about funding anyway so I'm sure we'll have some clarity by this time tomorrow.

Am I right in saying that online attendees at the AGM can submit questions during the event itself? Looking forward to loads of questions from those who pose so many questions here that only the company can answer.

I'd actually argue that it would be dumb of the neighbours not to enquire about a share in our block. And the Chinese really aren't stupid, especially when it comes to securing natural resources for themselves.

Matd is still about 15% up over the last two weeks trading.
