After all these years (including a devastating pandemic period), the company has production, licensing and permitting is increasingly streamlined, we have no debt, we have support from Petrovis, we have an imminent agreement sign-off, we have JV interest from other operators, we have a JV with a local renewables company with a growing reputation, and we have a CEO who won't go gung-ho at Heron in order to avoid dilution fundraising but is looking for JV or sale to extract value for us. The company in the last year, and the coming year, is a million miles from where it has been for all the previous years.

I do not see any serious accusations of fraud as you are suggesting. I see brief expression of shareholder frustration at a particular moment in time. Ask Shaz if that's what they meant. Some new thoughts - I'd be amazed if the block 19 operator doesn't try to buy Heron lock, stock and barrel. They are so big they don't need to JV and block 20 is a perfect fit for them, as Abzzba etc al have stated many times. Having multiple parties interested in a JV would help to support the price as the Chinese would be looking to get it all cheap and we don't want to come across as a distressed seller. This is why Buck said several times that we can do Heron alone if we had too, but it would be at a slower rate of growth.

Just a detail, secondly - I think he said the average bopd from Heron 1 was 228 bopd with a 4% water cut. That's actually higher than previously stated and they seemed very confident of getting it to increase. Just another 100bopd would make a big difference. Less positively, I think they recognise that putting H2 further away from H1 was a gamble that backfired and clearly now see Gazelle as a better option than H2 for further development. He admitted that they gambled in breaking the rubric of drilling the wells closer together to ensure success. This was a mistake which he openly admitted.

Thirdly, if you're intending to hold for a few more years, as I am, the Sunsteppe company is actually more exciting than the oil side of things and Buck seemed very conversant with everything going on here.

I also feel Mike Buck is genuine in his wish to avoid dilution especially at our current risible share price and I accepted his explanation as to why the potential percentage has been raised to give pi's more scope to participate. He certainly won't raise before an uplift in the sp.

Anyway, I say again I was very pleased with the update and the AGM. So many negs have no sense of irony - before yesterday they were screaming endlessly that the company would need to raise millions for a drill programme and then yesterday they were screaming endlessly that the drill programme was not happening, the company was 'battening down the hatches' and not raising for an ambitious drill programme!! Absolutely damned if we do, damned if we don't. Mike Buck is doing the sensible thing in maximising Heron, making it a really tight operation, getting the income rolling in and continuing talks with 'entities' interested in partnering us. I've stated many times before that I felt this was the approach to take. Sunsteppe, Gobi, Gazelle, PCS's are all then in addition to our solid base going forward. We'll done Mike Buck in my view.

Well, I'm happy with the update and the AGM, all things considered. Very happy that the focus is on Heron with loads going on to get value from it. Given out low running costs a little rise in bopd makes us stable as a going concern unencumbered by debt. It's exactly what I was wanted to hear as it seems so obvious. I'm pleased Buck mentioned the plan be for our oil cargo and I'm sure hes let the Chinese know exactly what it is. We are cash positive with a big injection soon from the stockpiled product. Buck clearly listens to holders' and has geared our progress to not make unreasonable and dilutitive funding exigencies, but rather operate on a sustainable basis. Excellent. Sunsteppe is then the joker in the pack, and looks a great outfit in the making, with good lines of comms to key decision-makers. That alone could be huge.
