Only time will tell. I think there is a hell of a long way to go for him to earn the trust and respect of shareholders!

The thing that sort of does my head in is that DKE are main market listed not AIM. I always thought there were more protections / safeguards than are apparent.

There is something in many of us which wants to get rich quick, but that can become our downfall.

If or when this gets resolved I will never invest in a single stock again and stay with larger well known funds

On reflection it was a moment of madness to invest the way I did, but I can't turn the clocks back. If it wasn't for the fact that DKE were on the ADVFN leader board that day I would never have heard of Dukemount let alone invested in them.

This whole DKE debacle has been awful and I regret everyday getting involved with them.

On the property front, I won't be homeless (thankfully) but I will potentially have to live in somewhere more modest shall we say.

I was told by a professional adviser NOT to file a TR1 way back when. I was potentially going after Interactive Investors on the grounds that they were offering investments in a company without flagging the risks appropriately enough. There was a similar "shell" company at the time that i tried to invest in and they referred my to a telephone number to call. When I called, I was taken through a series of questions to asses my suitability to invest in such a company and I got nervous and backed out of it.

The legal angle I was exploring was that the same safeguards were not applied to DKE when to all intents and purposes the 2 companies had the same profile.

I got the TR1 forms and as a novice found them complex and hard to figure. If I had (with some outs assistance) filed the TR1, this would have weekend my case as Interactive Investor would claim that I had enough investment competence to have invested in DKE with full knowledge.

I hope you can follow that and cut me some slack!

When PG responded to my LinkedIn message (he literally responded in 5 minutes) I wanted to post his response verbatim on this message board, but at his request I didn't as he was concerned it would be misconstrued,

I gave him the space to respond to all the shareholders with the same info at the same time.

Just to clarify something I am not Paul Gazzard using an alternative moniker! I am a separate person and genuine investor like yourself. The response to my message to PG through LinkedIn said the website would be updated in "a few hours". Please don't shoot the messenger!

I couldn't say exactly when without checking my transaction history on Interactive Investors but from memory it was around late October last year. The map was around £1M at the time.

I do think the chunk of the company has given me some gravitas in the eyes of Mr Gazzard and obviously at that level of potential loss i wasn't going to go down without a fight!

I got the impression from my messages to mr Gazzard that he is taking me seriously. I hope that works well for us all.

I managed to track down Paul Gazzard via LinkedIn and joined the website so that I could use the internal messaging system to send a direct message to him. Below is a copy of that message.

Dear Mr Gazzard

I have around £100,000 invested in Dukemount Capital. The shares were suspended in November last year and I along with the other shareholders have been kept almost totally in the dark from the board of directors.

If you ever take the time to read the message boards for Dukemount Capital you will see that there is a trail of angry investors who believe that they have been duped by you and your co-directors!

I have explored the possibility of taking legal action against you and Geoffrey Dart.

For the sake of common decency, can you please tell us if you have any intention of re-lisitng DKE shares or have you planned all along to dissolve this company?

It is public knowledge that you have created scores of new companies in the later part of last year into early 2023.

The whole DKE debacle is causing a lot of people a lot of pain!! On a personal level, it has caused me to appoint an estate agent to sell my apartment so that I can downsize my property to re balance my financial affairs!

All of this does not reflect well on you or Geoffrey Dart and calls into question your fitness to be a director of a listed company!

You seem adept at dogging your responsibilities to treat shareholders with any respect and I hope that in this instance you will reflect on this and face up to matters and do the right thing!
